Opioids Hydromorph Contin 24mg - Insufflation?

Hi, I have acquired one of these bad boys

But, I was wondering... Since I am definitely not going to IV these. Or plug them. What would be the best method to crush them up for insufflation?

And if I crushed them up very finely would there not be wax coating left in the powder, how would I separate that?

I think I'm going to go with the method of dumping the beads onto a folded paper, closing the fold, closing the ends to prevent beads from flying out, and crushing 'em in there.

same here. but dont pound em with a hammer or anything, i did that before and lost a fair amount as it become one with the paper i put it in , just fold up as the other person said and run the bottem of a lighter or another object, dump out cut up with razor and rinse and repeat, i did it until my 12mg one was fine fine powder.

lol yaaaaa bottom of a lighter works. i did this method using the bottom of a lighter to crush up adderall XR's before. so i hope i have enough experience to flawlessly do these! hahah

Hey i've been doing opioids/opiates since around 2002, in 04' i got on 205mg methadone a day from doing oxy (oral), hydromorph (snorted) & fentanyl 10mg/day (smoked).

When i did hydromorph (dilauid 4-8mg or time release up towards 32mg from 3mg the lowest...in beads) i would crush every bead and snort it, others (most) would take equilvalent of 2-4mg in a spoon and shoot it...i hate fucking needles i couldnt even watch).

What i wanted to say was that hydromorph is a wierd opioid, in that it makes u high but (snorted) very short lived and you never really know when ur peaking or when the peak is done...youll see what i mean

p.s. most heroin users i know (iv) say they preffer the dilaudid high since the rush is stronger and the quality is always the same

Hydromorphone is literally just high-dose hydrocodone if you don't inject it. I am not telling you to IV it; I am just stating a fact. If you like the feeling of hydro, you'll always like hydro, regardless of whether it's -morphone or -codone, since they end up as the same drug. But if you are like me and get zilch from hydrocodone, then you'll be in for a surprise!!!

I like hydrocodone, but I felt fuck-all from 4mg snorted hydromorphone. Maybe 4mg ain't shit to me though and it's a tolerance issue.......

Not true. I'm allergic to hydroCODONE but do fine on hydroMORPHONE. Everybody is different. Hydrocodone does nothing for me, pain relief/euphoria wise, and it makes me break out in hives and itch all over. Oxycodone I also don't do well with - 5-325s cause nausea and vomiting for me.

But all the sudden on Morphine and Hydromorphone, pain relief is there, and no negative side-effects. I also do fine on Codeine (just not strong enough for my current pain - related to three ruptured lumbar spinal discs with sciatica and peripheral nerve damage). Never tried Oxymorphone, but Fentanyl works well. Buprenorphone was fine (little nauseating at 4mg, tried the sublingual square thingy). Butorphanol Nasal Spray just makes me drowsy and kicks in fast for headaches.

Just my experience, though. I'd be interested in trying Hydromorphone ER (think it's called Jurnista in the USA) as a replacement for the MS Contin, though I get up to 90mg daily of that. Only get 8mg total hydromorphone daily.

Guess everybody is different with the hydrocodone/hydromorphone, etc. and reactions. I get nothing from -codone, but a LOT from -morphone.

^ That'swhy I said, if you got nothing from hdrocodone, you'd be in for a surprise. A GOOD SURPRISE!!! But they are essentialy he same drug. Difference is, H-codone is a pro-drug, meaning it has to be converted by the liver into H-morphone. It is metabolized via CYP2D6. So if you are part of the 10% of the population with little or no CYP2D6 activity, you will get (practically) nothing from hydrocodone, a none of it gets metabolized.

So yes, it is about everyone beig dfferent, but either way, they have exactly the same effects when all is said and done, just that the doses will vary depending on CYP2D6 activity, and the hydrocodoe having to convert adds some adverse effects of it's own, pre-conversion which could explain your allergy though it makes little sens to be allegic to just hydrocodone and not hydromorphone or codeine. Are you sure it is not the tylenol???)

And as I said, I do'n get shit from hydrocodone, at any dose...

^ Yes they do. Its amazing I would imagine. I would probably mortar and pestle those while its wrapped in something. I use to do it with an AXE spray can and roll it over the dexedrine beads and that worked well. So I would imagine it would be the same with these.
