Same here I'm dying to watch it but I'm sitting at 1h 51m to go and I just realised I've ran out of skins...
 
Like monsta said in the other thread, The Walking Dead was a big let down this week. I won't spoil it for you, I couldn't if I wanted to because it was a pile of wank.
 
I did? Did I? Could you link me to that statement as I may well have done but lost the memory to amnesia very easily =D
I don't think I've checked out the 2nd one yet, so I shall do tonight. If I remember correctly I did enjoy the first one but I didn't expect there to be tonnes of action, though more about character developement and senario setting.
 
Maybe it was me who bitched about the 2nd Walking Dead episode, think I mentioned it in gibberings. I was disappointed, really enjoyed the last serious but the new script is well...like written by a 3 year old goth wannabe. Saying that the gore is good. Slow n' shallow tho'

YMMV.

I know a couple of people here have said they didnt like the 2nd episode, but I honestly dunno why. i thought it was decent.
not as nail-biting as the first ep, but that's often the case when new characters are introduced. breaking bad had a number of quiet episodes in each series too. this new episode was consistent in quality if you ask me ... set up some new tensions within the group, and introduced some potential pair-ups.

I still wish to commit homicide upon every female character tho, so I hope they eventually develop some less weak and sappy females.

Ah I think I did mix you up, sorry about that! I was enjoying the episode until it just abruptly finished. For some reason it felt like it was about 10 minutes long. The female characters are definitely winding me up too Marm. They just seem like a total hinderance. Lori is a total prick... I used to like the blonde one but she's boring me now. The beaten housewife cancer patient is pissing me off too.

No worries :) I'm just about to check it out so I shall report back. Was the first one of this new series a sort of "feature-length" episode? That would account for it feeling so short, I get that with a few things though.

Just have to say that the latest Nevermind The Buzzcocks was ace ^_^ It's got a Mr. Beardy Adam Buxton as the guest host ;)
The "Count how many Mobies you see" had my sides hurting.

Yeah it was 15 minutes longer I think. The shortness was more down to nothing really happening - there were no real plot developments or anything. I obviously won't ruin it for you, not that I can!
 
I think the new walking dead is shit, gonna stop watching it. The main guy that used to be in teachers cant act for shit, he actually makes me angry.

Dexter is getting old as well, hope they just finish it soon.
 
Loving new Fringe. Interested to see if tonight's Fresh Meat saves itself. It started off so well, it would be a shame for it to end up shit. New South Park is the usual quality - it hardly needs saying.
 
I didn't mind the 2nd new Walking Dead to be honest.
I thought that yes it was much slower paced than the 1st new one but that it was more about character developement and introducing new ones.
I've not read the graphic novels so I don't know if there was a bit about these new characters or if it was purely a concoction of the script writers. I shall await the next episode to decide if it's going to be downhill from here on out, but I can't imagine it would give up that easily ;)

And eeeep! Really need to get on the case of the new South Park. May do so tonight if I can stay awake long enough.
I'm also awaiting tonight's Fresh Meat... I'm wondering how this is going to go... It seemed to be a much more "Hollyoaks-esque" episode the last one. Again, I'll give it a chance.

Treacle, any idea why Fringe wasn't on for a week? I think Community was the same.

Walking Dead is disappointing me a bit. It's still good but not as good as I was expecting. Did someone say it's got different writers now?

South Park has lost it's way a bit, it's definitely going downhill. I don't think it's got long left. Still worth a watch though.

I don't know if it was this thread that I got it from, or if I've mentioned it before but folk really need to watch The League. I'm raging that I rattled through it so quick. Funniest TV show in years. Proper roaring with laughter shit.
 
Bit disappointed in some of the new big series. Walking Dead is pish.. and Dexter is getting boring. As crackhead mentioned above I hope they end it soon and don't drag it on like that load of balls that was Lost. I'm sort of liking Homeland but it'll probably end up like 24.

Can't beat the comedies. I'm watching Happy Endings just to perv over Elisha Cuthbert<3

saw it for 2 mins earlier today while my dad was watching it on his big, fuck-off 40something inch TV and it looked awesome. colours were crystal. it was the last 2 mins of the episode where the killer whale pod surprise the cameramen at the end. it definitely made me want to see the rest

not sure my ASDA brand 32inch old CRT type telly is gonna cut the mustard for it tho

I just finished watching the new Louie Theroux USA's Wild n Dangerous Pets 'docu', anyone watch it?

the dodgy logic and self serving delusions of the Zoo owners were pretty staggering. Louie didn't really do the subject & situations he was looking at justice when it came to questioning their reasoning imo, and missed a ton of opportunities to counter, or at least present to them their overtly double standards so they could comment on them. he shouldve gone much deeper imo.

LOL at all the monkey owners attending the training course. every one of them looked liked they had issues struggling with social interraction of some kind. and instead of focusing on why that is, they 'adopt' what they perceive to be a more responsive, and 'controllable' relationship via a highly dangerous primate, dote/spoil/dress/pamper them in a manner it would be pretty obscene to treat a child like imo, let alone a monkey which has no business being treated like a human, and carry on regardless. urgh. Not sure & i don't remember Louie asking, but are they allowed to take those little monkeys out in public? i think they are from the look of it. most of them had no clue about the potentials for disaster ... and the one woman that did acknowledged that it would probably attack anyone that tried to touch her, or that she tried to touch
