I just feel sorry for my cats, especially the likkul one. They're always so scared. Poowr kitties :(

Did regular doses myself, but is probably safer to do 75% of your normal dose.


I really don't like fireworks, I don't see the point, especially early ones, hate that too monsta. Not really a fan of them any time anyway, woooh, a light in the sky, woot :\

Maybe I'm being boring though 8)

oh no! i lost a really cute cat to fireworks on non standard days, let her out and she never came back so we think she ran from the noise and got lost. she was the only 'proper' cat i've ever had, i.e. one that did all the sitting on knees, cuddles, and general sucking u pthat my current cat* only does when she wants something. she was gorgeous too. not sure how you comfort a cat, tis a problem with things that don't understand language.

* who is fucking awesome.

Nah mate I'm with you on that one ;) Back in the day, sure, I bet they were magic to behold for those who witnessed them. But these days...? Maybe they should make them 4D or something =D

Awww noo :( That's really sad hun <3 Yes it would be beneficial to have a cat to human communication device.
Or maybe we should make them little earplugs.

Have you seen the advert about that aromatherapy plug-in that you can get for dogs? We should get some form of Valerian one for cats. Or just pop a Diaz in their food lol (I jest).
 
Don't care for fireworks much either Mugz, yeah sure they are nice and that but I've seen them plenty of times before.
 
I was hit on the head by one on the way back down when I was really little, but I'm not scared of them or anything, just don't see what the big fuss is about, they are very expensive, and all you get is some lights in the sky and to stand outside in the freezing cold pretending you are having a good time so not to upset the host of the fireworks party.

it is sad! my poor little girl prob died of starvation or something, we contacted all the local vets and put signs round and nothing.

my rents gave a cat diaz once. turns out it has the opposite effect on cats as it does to humans. a vet mate deduced cats have totally different nervous systems to humans this way too.

i use feliway on my cats basket when she goes in the car. i think it does subdue her but she still shits in it every time.

heavy metals (for the colours) too. not good.

last time i went to a fireworks display, the commentary was 'that cost the same as an operation,' 'someone could get treatment with that' over and over again, as tens of thousands got sent up at leeds councils expense. fun times.

It is an utterly pointless "celebration" these days. I'm sure a higher percentage would rather blow up parliment these days than go "Oooooh.... Ahhhhh.... Eeeeeee.....".
 
Watching stargate sg1 as usual, there is one thing that annoys me, is when they decide to try and act as the drug police for the whole galaxy when some new drug is developed on some random planet. Is quite annoying that they go from fighting bad guys and saving the world to stopping drug trade between planets :\

I'm sure none of you care about sg1, lol, is just one of the things about it that I don't like and is related to drugs so I thought I would gibber it here.
 
Mugz - I think I've only seen the film... Possibly caught a couple of episodes when under the influence of an amnesia-inducing substance.
Enjoyed the film muchly though :)

Wibz - I know what you mean hun. Did you get some nice new headphones by the by?
 
The film was good, you should buy the tv show box-set monsta and then watch it from the beginning, I reckon you would like it if you liked the film. The story arcs are really good and you have to watch it from the start to finish if you are going to watch it :)
