The myth

The colonies of wild parrots widespread today in London and south-east England are descended from birds which Jimi Hendrix released in the 1960s to add some psychedelic colour to the city. Either that, or the original breeding pair were Jimi’s pets, accidentally released after the guitarist’s death. Or, if not, then they were escapees from Shepperton film studios during the filming of The African Queen (1950); or possibly, in the 1970s, during the making of another (unnamed) picture at Shepperton. One way or another, anyway, the first London parrots had showbiz origins.

They would definitely make London look nicer! I saw a pink pigeon in Mauritius.

The bower bird fascinates me.. Look at the wonderful love
nests they meticulously construct to seduce their birds. ^ He must have spent weeks collecting all those blue bottle tops and straws.. I hope he got shagged.

why did the thread name have to change again it was jus fine nice and spontaneous know its crap and looks totaly unspontaneous .
Wriggle like an eel as well you were dying to get that one out , couldn't jus let it be spontaneous all got to be of SG standard , what aload of bollox any1 would think you ran this place , any way i feel ill so i'ma have a napn a couple of vallies.

Erm, the subject of travellers came up in conversation, hence the addition.

Don't fully understand your post or what it's getting at but I can change it back if it stings too much. The same goes for anyone else who takes thread titles to heart to that extent. Or you could always ask one of the other mods if you don't want it to bear the mark of the devil...

On a less puzzling an more positive note - nice to see you DS. Hope you're keeping well.

What I am looking forward to more is the headphones that were apparently put in a van in mitcham at 7.35 today to fucking get here already so I can listen to black flag and be angry.

So say i dunno Chinup saw that the music thread was taking a dif. direction she could change it ?
Or if Monsta thought that this thread was taking the direction of Ducks say , he could change it .
