I'm with YPDH and the others that say it is unnecessary for any person to be photographed in that condition, well put in that condition first and then photographed for the world to enjoy :\ makes me feel a bit sick to be honest, not looking at the photo, but thinking about the human condition and how fucked up we truly are. What hope have we ever got for a united world, for peace, if to show "victory" you need a bloody head to hold high in the air. It was just the swap of one evil dictator for another not so obvious evil dictator (the "western" world)

Sometimes I just wish that I had been born on a remote mountain in Tibet and had just spent my whole life as a Buddhist monk rather than living in this horrible excuse for a society in an evil cruel world.

If I lived under a tyrant for a few decades I think i'd need the closure. I'd rather not see him in a mess, but you have to know he's gone and you are safe.

It is up to the people of Libya what they want/wanted to do to him. As for being televised, it's pretty much standard, of course he is going to be shown on TV. As for the human condition to be honest he was lucky he was shot and not held captive for years I think, being dragged through the street is not what I'd have done but someone obviously felt it necessary to make themselves and their fellow local people who had suffered at his hands feel better. So fair play to them, whatever works.

It's not so much showing victory as showing change and the end of an era in my opinion.

Stone Roses back together, Gadaffi dead, what next? Was quite enjoying watching the news of him being dragged and beaten through the streets at first then it made me feel a bit sick. I'm not fussed either way about what they did to him, what should you do to a brutal dictator who ruled with an iron fist for 40 years? Treating him nicely and sending him to prison hardly seems like a fitting end either. Could you really just lock him up? The only interesting part of that might have been if we got to see the video if him being interviewed after capture like we did with Saddam. That was one of the best bits of TV I've ever seen, a man with a heart of stone, showing no fear or remorse, defiant despite being defeated, refusing to accept the rule of law and not even flinching at the fatc he was going to be hanged.
 
^ Yeah I agree with you that was crazy, absolutely no remorse in that man. Although I think Gadaffi would have been similar although he was more scared. If I were him I'd rather have been shot and dragged round the streets than imprissoned and tortured or whatever else, waiting to be hung would be worse aswell.

Anyway, I'm in a dancer of a mood like. Been on the special K, Corona's and Heineken now. Not been feeling so fit and healthy in ages, really getting back into the working out lately. Looking fresh as fuck aswell. Mates having a wee sesh on Sat so that should be good crack, one of the boys has been getting flake coke at £80 a g says he may get another load on Sat and a few of us will get on that and the Brothers 8% cider, I've still some K aswell. Also I've got the date I was a wanting, Sunday night taking her out for a meal. Defo have to get a sleep during the day on Sunday.....the weekend is looking good though =D

ello all, just a quick one as ive been quiet for days :P gunna wait till the battery on this piece of shit gives up, cannot be fucked to take the charger out n walk to plug it in lol, yeah im that lazy :) pretty stoned, managed to get my way through more beers then i imagined tonight but luckily i got tomorrow off to do FUCK ALL:D:D:D bout time to do nothing, gunna get high and well do nothing
