It's time to take some risks and find some place new. It's an awesome city, gorgeous area and will be an incredible change of pace being in a progressive area after growing up in one of the most conservative counties in the US - DuPage.

Well sir, I bid you good luck and I hope you have a very safe and smooth journey and transition :)

Its also a long drive. One summer, my brother wanted to move his things to Seattle so he flew here to Chi. We picked up a rental pickup truck, drove up to WI by Green Bay, and then drove all the way out to Seattle non stop. Took us 2 days. I drove the rental truck back to Chicago while first stopping in Northern WI (which took me 28 hours. Would have been 24 hours if I didnt stop to nap) to see my family and then driving back down to Chi. I saw alot of neat things along the way. Anyway, Im just rambling.

I don't plan on making any cross-country driving trips anytime soon. I'm flying out there when we move and I'm hoping to only fly back if I want to visit here... maybe take a train. Long train trips can be fun too if you have the time.
