I'm new to postng a drug question in bluelight so if I'm posting in the wrong place someone please let me know where to post this question:
I am currently presribed Adderall IR, Perococet, Nucynta, Soma, Xanax, and Valium. I have a high tolerance to all but I was wondering if taking Nucynta with Adderall is dagerous in low does because i know it can cause serotonin syndrome because of Nucyntas SSRI properties. My question is would 5mg ritalin IR, 2mg adderall IR(im sensitive to amps so i break a piece off) Nucynta and percocet be a dangerous combo? I take about 60mg oxycodone just to keep m cervical/lumbar pain at bay but my tolerance is about 250mg. Today I took 5mg Valium ith 5mg ritalin in the morning then later in the day ten 10/325 percocets and 200mg Nucynta, and then a crumb of adderall to increase euphoria and keep me from nodding because nucynta does make me nod.... I just want to make sure its not terribly damaging myself. any info is greatly apprchiated and if i posed in the wrong area please let me know where a question like this is suitable for discussion. Thank you!

to my knowledge, tapentadol possess no affinity for serotonin receptors, and is not a serotonin releasing agent like tramadol. in theory, your combination is not neurotoxic. however, just because a pharmaceutical-concoction is not neurotoxic by no means is it "safe" to be on multiple drugs at once..

It shouldn't cause serotonin syndrome , and at low doses you should be 'relatively' safe with a concoction like that. But which fucking doctor is prescribing you all these recreational pills, and not expecting you to cocktail them lol. What a dirty doc, with that being said sign me up!

Thanks for te rsponses guys! a lot of peple can't give me correct infomatin on Nucynta combos..even every thread that iv read on BL. & LOL he is a very easy-going doctor. I also have another med. to add in that i forgot. I made a fentanyl spray and have been doing shots through out the day....so would that cocktail along with the fent. spray be too strenuous on my heart? i take the adderall like 2 times a month so lets hardly consider it.

it doesn't? i read that it was an mu agaonist and had SNRI properties thats what scared me. The mix of the drugs releasng serotonin is what scared me especially since they can also causes seizures at higher doses.

If you have been genuinely prescribed all of these medications then the doctor would know what other meds you are also prescribed and wouldn't give you a dangerous combo.

Be careful with the fent, as I'm sure that is not prescribed and will be potentiated by the benzos you are prescribed.

If you need that many drugs I think the damage is done. Thats a lot of drugs bro, and does it help? Does it get you going and doing things and living your life or are you just doing drugs all day long getting high, or sleeping.
Do you do your drugs and still can't move because of your "pain" whats your doctor thinking. Try managing your pain on your own and getting off some of the drugs, I promise you your doing damage of some sort to your organs, brain and body. Do you even feel good all day? Whats your usage like? breaking little bits of pills off all day adding to your cocktail?
I dunno I had gastric bypass which went wrong I almost died and was left with permanent pain and side effects that would drive most people to kill them selves. I was on lots of drugs too but after 9 years I got off of them and im not sober and clean and feel better. I found that most of my problems issues were in my head (addiction) me wating a excuse to do drugs... I mean the pain is still there but I find I can tolerate it better off of drugs then on them. I still take a pain pill once in awhile but im not a addict like I was before const-ally trying to get a high or feel better, now I feel good all the time, even with pain.

Speak to your doctor, research each drug yoruself and make an informed decision based on speaking to your doc and your own research and then come to a conclusion. I think we have helped all we can in this
