Portishead are a bit of an institution round my way , had the pleasure of seeing them play un announced at Ashton Court free festival in Bristol years ago, a wicked surprise for everyone.
Beth has such an incredible voice , so it kinda shocked me when she was smoking fags beetween songs.

I'd of thought a vocalist of her caliber wouldn't go near fags never mind inbetween songs haha

Karen O and The Kids - Hideaway
Just watched "Where The Wild Things Are" again. Favourite book as a lil' one.
Beautiful soundtrack.

Lovely Monsta. Missed that one, but now downloaded...

Is the film any good? I found it hard to envisage how they would squeeze a whole 90mins out of a five minute story...?

My son loves the DVD of the original. It also has this on it, completely hallucinatory...

This is banned in parts of the US...

It really is very good :) Spike Jonze's directional take on it really makes it something quite special.
Beautiful visually, characterally (is that a word?) and just generally.
That vid is rather strange... I'd imagine it was still allowed in the south ;)
