A movie I want to see is "Black Tar Heroin, The Dark End of the Street" It looks like a really well made documentary but I can't seem to be able to find it anywhere.

i think half baked, city of god, requiem for a dream (but i think how their pupils dilate after usin heroin was quite confusing the whole time.."are they coke fiends wtf?") , sugar hill, and trainspotting were all pretty cool movies

Just read through the whole thread and was surprised no one was mentioning New Jack City. Guess its cuz we're older than the average BL. No one mentioned Cheech & Chong either.
 
I know its not a movie per se, but the best show ever on drugs has to be THE WIRE. No other program ever took on every aspect of drugs from users to street dealers to big dealers to importers to cops to politics to media to schools to the ports to recovery, etc........

New Jack City
Sugar Hill
Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas

Very hard not to include Scarface as its one of my favorite moviesbut it didn't look at the drug users as much as the ones on my list. Just watched Dazed & Confused again last night. Not a top pick but a funny movie about "innocent" drug/alchol use in high school.

^ just watched gridlock'd a couple days ago w/ my mom..im always missing dope ass movies that just sit around the house .
 
Another Honorable Mention is Clockers, which is a classic, Strike is the shit in that movie...
 
Oh yeah, I hate to keep adding, but I love movies, Ive watched so many... but the French Connection is a good old school flick.... I still would recommend The Man with the Golden Arm for anyone whose into shooting dope...

I get so lost when i watch these movies, especially when I am actually on the drug that they are doing in the movie. But that is only natural.
