Stealing lighters is supposed to be a game, man. Join in, it's fun. When you start stealing peoples' lighters it no longer bothers you to have yours stolen.
 
People who ask for a toke, you giving them a freshly lit king-size joint and them handing you the roach back.

Also, people who take lighters, but this is only because a couple of my friends play this little game where they try to steal as many lighters as possible... ;)

i am referring to the people that choose shrooms over a chemical solely because it is natural and their close-minded views on man-made chemicals are as unsubstantiated as a hooker's kid's husband. i'm sure these same people would not drop mescaline, but would promptly take a button of peyote as if its natural form is more safe. people forget that you can have a bad trip on shrooms and become schizophrenic, as well as on lsd, and people also forget lsd is based off a natural substance: ergot fungus and lsa. and, armed forces, i'm sure you knew the kinda people i was talking about.

Racist assholes who use racist slang to describe the wetting of a joint, and then think it's okay because they put a blank in place of the racist word.

i was hesistant about putting the blank. would no blank've been better for you? i guess the whole 'racist' (according to you) interpretation would've magically dissappeared. and for the record, my high school is 70 percent black, more than half my friends are black. i actually prefer my black friends to my white friends. we're comfortable enough with our friendship to use the 'n' word and use honky freely. obviously, church, that kind of understanding is out of the question for you.
 
I never mix with people who irritate me in any way however I can empathise with a lot of what I have read here already!

Although ... saying that .. now I come to think of it ... I think what irritates me the most is people who use music as an excuse to take a whole lot of drugs. It ends up looking incredibly greedy and also needy.

Ooer ... I guess I do have a pet peeve after all.
 
Hard drug users who blame their problems on weed has got to be my biggest pet peeve, followed closely by hard drug users in general.

About the lighters, when I'm fucked I put them in my pocket by mistake sometimes. Used to play the game in school.
 
I get annoyed when people get high and proceed to spend all their buzz time in the pursuit of getting more drugs. For what? To have fun and feel good. Doing what? Doing drugs. No, goddammit, I mean what are you gonna do for fun? Drugs, dude. ....engh.

Seems to me like they're missing the whole point. Drugs are a part of life, like football and porno and books about war. (;)) They aren't life itself!

Usually, when talking to younger drug users, and we get into a discussion about it, they mention that they've taken "Pills", as if pills were a class of drugs in themselves.

I guess i fit into the "younger drug users" generalization but I have always believed that when people, and I, say pills in that context it is because to non users all the details that they wouldnt understand. If I was talking to someone that i knew had experience with them then i would be more descriptive.

Around here its all a game, but the way we play is if you can call on who ever did it then we just give the lighter back. The trick is to pin it on someone else ;)

- when people in real life have no clue about drugs but talk like they do. depending on the circumstance/surroundings, i used to take attempts at correcting them. usually they're being ignorant about it and believe in myths and shit that has been proven wrong 20 years ago. it's kinda sad, and it pisses me off a lot.

i COMPLETELY agree here i hate that shit.i wouldnt mind being proven wrong if i'm wrong but when they refuse to accept it i just ignore the rest of what they have to say.


The only thing i think wasnt touched upon is when some asshat has to smoke out of his shitty *blank* (bowl, bong, ghetto contraption). I don't mind switching shit up frequently but when we HAVE to smoke out of that one piece it makes me wanna take my weed elsewhere.
 
- When people say they "do" drugs. How do you "do" drugs? You can try drugs. You cn consume or take drugs. You cannot DO drugs, because "drugs" is not a verb. It just bugs me, lol.

- The illusive drugs. Everyone says that PCP and Heroin (and even *ghasp!* LSD!) are everywhere, yet no one can find them anywhere... (at least in this sad city.. )

- The inferior-drugs-clique. You know. How Tramadol is not a "real" opioid or how Methylphenidate is not "real" speed. That bugs me too.

- Psychedelic herding. I guess this started with Leary. Ever since him, psychedelic users became infatuated with idols.

People who spill the bong water - Fucking Gross

Gay people who hit on me while rolling (I have nothing against gay people)

People who constantly tell you how awesome their high is or how fucked up they are.

And like Ketamike said, people who judge hard-drug users like they're some kind of alien or foreign creature.
 
when you think you're going to get coke, and you get all coke-psyched-up, and then it doesn't come through. damn dopamine system. :D

Alien or foreign creature?! I don't like them because they make the rest of us look bad with their inability to hold themselves accountable for their actions. Nothing undermines the legalization movement quite like some junky going to rehab for the fifth time and claiming it all started when he smoked his first joint at 14.
 
Im with that guy a while ago with the stories. People will get passed the bowl/joint/whatever when they are mid-story, then they just have to finish the story before noticing that they have it!!
 
^^^^^ oh HELL YES, i def. agree with that one. but i also hate it when i buy the sake of bud and the blunt and then one of the friends wants to argue about me letting them roll it....

also when ppl say they will match on a blunt, and you throw some down and when they throw it down it's not even half of what you've put down.

when i'm tripping i hate it when people who havent done it before look at you all wierd and keep on saying that i look fucked up.. its like no shit, you do too.

And i hate it when things are rushed...and stuff get burned . HATE THAT!!!! should be smooth and perfect.

Hehe I have a personal one that drives me up the wall.

When you have a nice bag of nugs and you tell someone to roll or pack "one" up. They then pull out the biggest, dankest nug out of the bag and proceed to break it up - the one nug you were planning on saving for last.
 
I'm in agreement that judging "harder" drugs when you havent ever even tried them is retarded. I had a 50g bottle of Dex powder and was attempting to interest a few friends. They scoffed, laughed, etc. Not a month later 2 of them drop 750 mg's with me and smoke a J and fucking poof, they beg me for "those white pills" for the next 2 months straight.

Oh, and people that don't know that Crack is just Coke minus the HCl. I've met people that will do blow all night an talk shit about crack, and they don't know a damn thing about it. I choose not to do crack, but at least I know its still coke.

Maybe because the effects of crack are so much differnt than coke that most people overlook freebase being the free'ed base of coke.
