Benzos What's your benzo dose for anxiety management?

1mg of Klonopin a day. but I sometimes don't follow doctors orders ;)

because i'm on MMT and they won't let me be on a short-acting benzo... they also took away my 4mg lormetazepam and 800mg meprobromate.... which kinda sucks... instead i got this crazy neuroleptic "cyamemazine" but nothing w/ any "abuse potential"....
 
I only get 5 mg diazepam per day, but then, my anxiety isn't nearly as bad as it used to be. Still, I often end up taking 10 mg for recreational purposes, and end up running out two and a half weeks into a month's prescription. (I've started drinking white grapefruit juice before dosing, hopefully to take less so I don't run out as early.)

I also have a script for 30 mg temazepam before bed, which I almost always consume in the afternoon. Good times.
 
I am Rx'd:
3mg Clonazepam
30mg Temazepam
20mg Desoxyn (which, ironically, is the least panic-inducing ADD stimulant medication available)
 
Iam Prescribed 6mg's of Xanax a day and 4mgs of klonopin a day but take half of it................
 
I only started using Diazepam 2 weeks ago and already my tolerance has gone through the roof, always have this problem with every med I take. :|

Got 3 x 5 mg prescribed for anxiety, but somehow my doc (ADHD specialist) gave me a script for 45 x 10 mg Diazepam which sucks breaking them in half. The last week I used 2 x 10 per day to deal with the anxiety, if I feel a panic attack coming up 20-30 mg works without any noticable side-effects.

After just ONE week my tolerance is so high now that 50 mg gives me a decent buzz, and my script is already running low (thanks to the doc that gave me 10 mg tabs instead of 5 tho). :D

Clonazepam/Codeine/Tramadol same story, and having abused meds in the past (only Ritalin tho) I can't even get codeine/APAP tabs for my pain. *mad*

I hate my body chemistry lol, Ritalin etc has no tolerance increase, but any pain med is worthless for me after a week or so. Anyone know what causes this? Don't want to go off-topic, so pm me or post a link or something. (just noticed I'm not green anymore :D )

Writing on stimulants is fun, just can't seem to stop %)
 
you can't use benzos therapeutically and recreationally... it ju!st doesn't work... your tolerance shoots up, you run out early n so on.... just try to stick to the diazepam as prescribed, and other drugs for recreational use....
 
1-2 mg of clonazepam, alprozolam

recreational= atleast 3 mg of clonazepam, or 2mg of alprozolam. ideal is 4mg of kpin/clona and 3-4 mg xanax/alpro



2.5 mg of xanax is = to 3-4 drinks in terms of disinhibition.

i dont like to use them recreationally cuz then i run out early. 1 mg of clonazepam a day is enough to get through the day. if i wanna get recreational ill just have a few drinks with that. benzos are a strong potentiator of alcohol. kinda of as much as weed potentiates opiates. and the good part is u get can get just as fucked up with less drinks and have less or no hangover. plus its a clearer effect from benzos, and less sedation. less slurring, or load. just disinhibition.

20-30mg valium / day
10-20mg marinol / day + 0.5-1g cannabis smoked / day
5mg focalin / day
24mg morphine / day

no anxiety at all for me
 
0.5-2mgs of xanax for anxiety as needed. Used to be diazepam 5-15mgs up until recently. 5-10mgs of nitrazepam for insomnia as needed. Used to be temazepam up until recently. I also take 100mgs of doxepin (daily) for anxiety, depression and insomnia.

My GP and psychiatrist don't allow me to take benzos daily (like every other good Australian kid).
 
1/4 of the little blue zannies will knock me out, and I still get that awful paralysis just before i wake up, I hate that and found that klonopins are the only benzo that wont give me that.
 
I'm diagnosed with panic disorder w/ agoraphobia. My doc hooks me up with 4mg/day of alprazolam does the trick....
 
.5mg of Klonopin(Clanazepam) when I used to have severe Anxiety, this dose worked for me till I *actually* got rid of the problem that was causing the anxiety
(which was: bad relationship with my family, fake lifestyle; i.e. using to much drugs, and doing poorly in school)
- Anxiety usually has an underlying problem to it that can be solved. like ex. *person who is anxious bc theyr skipping work, bc theyr dope sick*, answer to this is: stop using dope!. (aha worked for me!)

It pretty much acts as a stimulant fo' me,
or,
maybe a better description is
'Focusin'.

None usually at night...
...I don' like to destroy
all of my REM,
an' I usually drink a
fair bit of the eve.

The 8mg fluctuates down
as far as 3mg morn' -
(not that oft of late) -
an' I can take large amounts...
seem to hit a ceilin' of 16mg...
I've taken double that,
an' the effects aren't that more pronounce'd...
'cept I then
usually don' need to dose the next day...

I agree. I find no recreational value with benzodiazpines...I've been on Clonazepam for about 15 months and my tolerance is ridiculous...

2 weeks ago I was cruising on 3mg daily, got arrested, now I'm taking 6-10mgs a day....I'm seeing a specialist to taper off and lower my tolerance...

Are all of those meds legally RX'ed? Just curious....sounds soothing. %)
