What made you quit opiates for good?

Hey it's had it's great times but as great as the mental pain relief is as great as how quickly you could pass away. Being homeless being a prostitute and getting my face backslappped so hard that all's I could do was just give into the evil of heroin and opioids.
But if I had money a lot of money, I have often wondered if it would still be hell? When I get to heaven I'll ask Kurt Cobaine.
