I'm not quite sure what your definition of bassline is, maybe a bit more clarification would help.

Thanks everyone. The only electronic music i listen to is drum and bass, but when i heard the title "bassline" i thought it sounded really cool.

Eat Static

Anyone hear heard of Eat Static? They are a pretty sweet psytrance/breakbeat/drum & bass band. In general they are kind of hard to categorize, which is one of the things I really like about them. They've been making electronic music for almost 20 years and before that they were in the Ozric Tentacles. A lot of their music artwork tends to have scifi/alien themes, but it's all tongue in cheek.

I've never met anyone who has heard of them and I know quite a few people who listen to electronic music. Maybe some fellow BLer have heard of them. :)
