Reasoning for/against a creator

Well we because we have degrees of freedom (freewill) are creators.. in and of ourselves..

So we can prove a creator exists because we are here and alive..

But the next question is.. did someone create us or where did we come from..?

The highest high is that there was no beginning to being.. it was here all the time..

I am..

On a technical level I don't think people actually create new people through birth etc. I see it more like a continuation through an exchange, basically the same thing as creating life in a lab which has been demonstrated now; it started with something but very little and it wasn't even alive at first
But the next question is.. did someone create us or where did we come from..?
My opinion is no. Where we came from is an interesting question though

I think there was an actual time when everything started. It just makes sense to me that way and I think it'd be dumb to think the earth didn't form at one time like everything else did. However I also think I'm a human and all of my ancestors were as well. I mean at some point we can only go by what we know and adjust our expectations accordingly

Here is my conjection..

The primal BEING has always existed..

But when that being began to act.. hence actions make up the universe..

Then time was created at the behest of the first action of the primal being..

what we need now is religious people who understand why some would see god as not being real.

only through understanding each other will we start to map a new path to global piece.

ah again your treating religion like a white man.

personally I think there is a little truth in all religions and I have found that I can do the most good

in this world if I do not alienate others by having an inflexible view on others beliefs.

im not religious yet

I love christmass with my family

I love chinese new year and I have done Ramadan so I could see what it was like.

I am happy to go to peoples churches with them too.

I lean more to your side of beliefs but find that the worst thing you can do to someone is steal there

religious beliefs from them.

it defines many people in ways us non believers do not understand.

there families believe and there communities.

many use there belief as a moral compass and a way to celebrate there history and ancestors.

all revelations need to be found on our own and pushing something like you have to choose

actually divides the population.

so I believe in everything and nothing.

I have learnt so much from others due to this stance and I insult so few it is very effective.
So lay back and let evil rein.

Evil will like that.

Try living by the Golden Rule.

Insert gays and women harmed by homophobic and misogynous religions to this quote. You should get an idea of what you should be doing with the homophobic and misogynous mainstream religions if you live by the golden rule.

Please get back to me with your conclusion.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

That’s where the Bible comes in. When you learn of God and who and how he is - you realize he’s perfect. He will be enough for you to accept, accepting the fact that he knows it all and you don’t have to.
If he is perfect, he isn't perfect, perfection requires imperfection so it would become more perfect, if something's already "perfect", it is not

It was not a serious argument, FUBAR, however I would not rule out the underlying principle that a "Creator" need not be perfect, nor should we expect one to be.

It's all pretty much man made theories isn't it?

All religions were created by man, but then I'm just repeating what I said in an earlier post in this thread.
