I'm with you, hoodie. I have a chromebook running google OS (which is linux based) as well as an android phone... I just made the switch from years of blackberry use where the operating system is prehistoric compared to android and iOS.

I LOVE the functionality, UI's and other aspects of apple products however they are whiny bitches obsessively trying to sue every other company out of competition. I like when companies aren't afraid of fair competition because only then the consumers win. I think it's hilarious that after apple is trying to sue HTC, samsung and a host of other companies due to using similar technology, it was just ruled in a European country (which escapes me) that their push email service is violating motorola's patent on the technology and they themselves were guilty of what they're pathetically trying to accuse every other company of doing.
 
Yeah fuck apple but I love my iPhone 4S and my MacBook pros and my iPods. They make good shit but they're so afraid of competition it sucks. I just love the GUI of iOS
 
So I met this LA icon today, Angelyne, in a random shopping center. She had this hot pink Corvette that caught my eye, so I had to bust a U and take a look at the driver.

Holy shit, straight out of a comic book or something, pink streaks in her hair, pink heels, and the biggest breasts I've ever seen. She carried a pink, decorated umbrella and wore a pink scarf. I thought that she was a porn star or something, but she had a certain essence of importance to her, and everyone was coming up and saying hi. I went across the street to grab a coffee, and I saw her in the coffee shop. I commented on how intense her car was outside the shop, and after thanking me, I asked what she did for a living. She said just look me up and gave me her card, and after some chit chat we parted ways.

I felt so embarrassed when I found out she was a celebrity, lol

yeah it seems like everyone who posts here all know each other quite well and are all talking in this tinychat thing instead of posting here, so i wind up responding to threads all day trying to find some interestin drug stuffz to talk about

Cane what kind of phone did you get? I have a decently newish one lol.. the Droid Incredible 2. 'Tis a great phone me thinks.

EDIT: well it was foggy for a minute lol wierd.. its not anymore but the color of the sky outside (since the suns not fully up yet) looks like fog, maybe i was half asleep and now im awake and notice it wasn't foggy.. damn im stupid.

too many durggzz have gone through my brain to even tell if it's foggy or not.. lol (it's not)
I shall return.. hopefully.. just goin to the store to get a starbucks espresso double shot.

I don't have the money to get anything top of the line and after a lot of research, it seemed the best bang for my buck (with a nearly free phone renewing my contract) was the HTC EVO design 4g... the essential features of the best phones but with a (very fast) single core processor, smaller screen - still 4'' though - not QUITE as sharp a display, etc... compared to my shitty blackberry I had for 2 years though, it's amazing.

Regarding the social and TC/AIM, etc.... it is kind of self-defeating. When socials start out, they are awesome but then often get cliquey, the discussion migrates elsewhere to the exclusion of those outside the clique and then the insiders and outsiders get antagonistic towards each other. Great, lasting relationships can form out of these threads but if these bonds start to become exclusive, people begin to feel left out and resentful.

This is exactly what killed the last social and hopefully this one won't go this route. I never saw this occurring at all in BDD and hopefully that won't be the case here. I think there are some amazing people in here so I'm hopeful it won't get as bad as it was in the past. Plus there are some great, dedicated mods keeping shit in check these days ;)
