Oh no, it's all good. I'm sorry if I freaked you out with my enthusiasm, but in NO WAY do toys ever replace the real thing. There's been a thread on that too (I have some hunting to do for you!). The unanimous opinion was that toys just add spice - they're not the meal itself.

Your girl might find it a bit unique to start with, and could want to incorporate them into sex often, but it's just part of foreplay... there's nothing that replaces the *ahem* real deal at the end. Even when you're playing with toys on your own it's a bit... empty, if you know what I mean. Your toy can't suck your nipples and whisper in your ear or have warm hands caressing your thighs or come inside you... (unless there's some super dooper half-human doll I don't know about ;) ).

Don't feel threatened, they're to real sex like fast food is to a gourmet meal.
 
The first toy I ever got was a very plain, non-textured, vibrator that was pretty much the baseline model. I think it cost about $15. Over the years I've acquired a few more, and honestly, nothing has ever been quite as perfect as that first plain one. It's a good size, not *too* big, so it can be used vaginally or anally, its smooth so not ever irritating (i've found the deeply ribbed ones can be sometimes), and since it doesnt have anything sticking out of it for clitoral or anal stimulation, I can pretty much sit on it as far as I want it to go up inside of me. Some of the toys that have the different pieces sticking out of them make this somewhat hard or uncomfortable. Not to say they aren't absolutely wonderful sometimes. I have one that's like the rabbit, but it's a dolphin, and it's great, and is waterproof so that's cool, but if I could only save 1 toy when my house caught on fire or something, it would be that one plain good ol' fashioned vibrator.

So, overall, I'd recommend starting with that. The little kit that you posted about in link #2 is really cool too...that'd be my other vote :)
 
I completely agree with SLM, start with 2 and the rabbit is a God sent, I have a toy like # 2 and my boyfriend and I use it all the time and it completely spiced things up. Toys are a lot of fun, but they don't compare to the real thing, they are a fun substitute sometimes though. ;)

If you have the money, you might like to look into buying yourself a "cling-on" or "kling-on" - some fancy name along those lines. It's designed for females and the idea of it is that it can enter both the vagina and ass at the same time. For my lady the "raabits" do both. Here's the bad thing about the "rabbits": The internal wiring and points are weak and cheap. We have yet to have one make it nine months. Either the phallus or the other part will stop working.
