lol I dunno guys, I fuckin loved it, I played the shit out of those games and as far as video game movies go, it sure beats the fuck out of dennis hopper with spikes and luigi being played by an out of work latino =p

I liked what they did with it, it wasn't a masterpiece or anything but it was nice adaptation, and they included a good amount of memorable locations from the game.

Too bad clint eastwood wasn't available to do this one 30 years ago though lol

Mark Wahlberg is too much of a pussy to play Payne. And why the fuck was he cleanly shaven?

I've never played the games, but it was clear that Wahlberg looked a little lost in the role - a small man trying to fill a big jacket. He was far too bland and weak to make it work.

Fucking terrible. No plot. Didn't really make any sense.

I have to agree. Struggled to keep my attention. I only finished watching it about an hour ago and I'm struggling to recall the plotline.

This was absolutely horrible. The shooting scenes, the fighting scenes, the plot, everything. The scene where he jumps backwards with the shotgun to shoot the guy upstairs was possibly the gayest waste of high-frame rate camera use I've ever seen. I mean, this movie could have been the perfect excuse to show off a multitude of insane scenes that could have been matrix takeouts. And what the fuck is up with Mark Wahlberg these days? "Shooter?" I mean did anyone else actually hold their vomit in when you heard the old "You're a hard man to find, but you're the best - we need you to come back" and Mark all like, "I'm done with this, I'm happy living by myself." Man wtf.... jesus.

oh this is the film i watched recently and couldn't remember. one star.

pretty weak he didn't even play through the damn game.. I mean.. really, throw some cheats on and get through it so you at least watch all the cut scenes. He could have done so much better.
