Last movie you watched?

Mission: Impossible 3

*hangs head in shame*

this is the definition of the term "if you've seen one, you've seen them all" :\

Menace II Society. Fucking gangster.

Click-I really loved this movie. I really did not think it was going to be that good so I left it as a last resort. I was very surprised with how much I enjoyed it.

The Wicker Man and it sucked ass. I can't think of any words to describe how bad I thought it was. I am mad at myself for wasting almost 2 hours polluting my brain with such drivel.

The movie I watched before that was called Bon Cop, Bad Cop. Now that was a good movie. Canada produces a good movie now and then.

*edit-for clarification I watched the Nick Cage version. Never seen the British version...

That's a good one. I like King of Comedy too.

I had never seen Raging Bull before--the fight scenes were unbelievable. I'll be sure to check it King of Comedy since you mentioned it...in fact, I've watched a couple of movies you've recommended in this forum including Oldboy, which I enjoyed, and soon, Scarecrow. :)

14 year old girl removing testicles of suspected pedophile was a highlight.

Awwww man!!!

If you grew up the 70s in Scotland, the original Wicker Man would be imprinted on your brain forever!

I am pretty sure the first naked b00bs (apart from my mum's, of course) were Britt Ekland's in that film.

Just forget you saw the pointless remake, go and hire the original!!! :D

^--- The original put me to sleep! Maybe I just need to watch it again...

I watched The Life of David Gale on Sunday and I loved it. I saw the ending coming a mile off, but it was a good movie. My next movie night is going to be Casino, which I've managed to go this long without ever seeing.

Indeed sir. Obviously it's not a hollywood blockbuster... but the sense of dread and creepiness it instils in the viewer is pretty damn amazing if you ask me.

It's also very much a product of its time. Back in 1973 it was pretty outrageous, you know. %)

\NB I was only 3 in 1973, by the way, I must have first watched it on TV 5 years later. :p

Babel

Pretty boring actually. Shame, because IMDB rate it & thought it might be decent.

against my better judgment i rented the remake of the wicker man. it was entirely disappointing and had none of the brooding menace of the original.

I've seen a bunch lately but here are the last two:

Primer (thanks, Finder): An unusual little movie that I enjoyed very much.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang: Definitely had its flaws but also had lots of potential and a few very funny moments thanks to Robert Downey, Jr's typically stellar performance.
