I kind of get you i had a psychotic episode about 4 years ago and was involuntary at the psych ward which is hell. Personally i preferred jail as atleast you get your meds there. My ex gf had DID and she spent 10 fucking years in a psych ward dunno how the fuck she lived through that. It is about the worst mental illness ive seen so my heart goes out to you.
Are you currently on any meds? There are treatment options out there that actually work like ketamine and also psychedelics and it would be worth doing a psychedelic again if the other option is killing yourself. Maybe try it and have a trip sitter on hand with a fast acting benzo and a fast acting anti-psychotic like zyprexa zydis.
In my opinion nothing is worth killing yourself over. I had cotards syndrome and thought i was dead and that was fucking hell. Id much rather be alive then dead. You cant even get high if your dead ffs
