Misc How Can We Improve Other Drugs? v. Calling All OD Miscreants

It was a few posts in the staff only forums directed at ONE admin, whom I had a history of negative interaction with. That's it.

But, it's over now so no point in discussing something long dead, especially when they'll just throw out more lies to do damage control after the uproar that happened when they forced me out.

So whatever. I've moved onto bigger and better. I still have mad love for BL.

allow me to translate:

"it was at least a dozen or so posts both in the od forums and aimed at staff members. i consistently ranted and hurled abuse towards greenlighters and bluelighters alike deeming them things such as "stupid fucking idiots" to say the least on repeated basis because they disagreed with me on subjects such as the harms of using heroin. i can't man up to my own mistakes and also became very malicious when confronted with them towards other staff members despite being contacted with the utmost respect and courtesy. if i was at any respectable corporation or job i would have been fired immediately. maybe deep down i knew this and decided that this was my place to exercise my verbally abusive tendencies.

i don't really care for bluelight anymore but despite my thinly veiled goodbye's it's payback time so i'll stick around and be a mercenary drama queen and paint non-existent fairytales in order to recruit members by disillusioning them into thinking there's a "me against the world" agenda at play."

the sad part of this is so many senior staff members, myself included stuck up for this guy. i called you a "work-horse" but as alasdair put it...

And with Scag gone, you put the most time into moderating OD.

You're full of shit and trying to cover your ass so just admit everyone sees through your power trip and shut up and move on. I have. You literally didn't even have anything to do with it, haha. Like.. you weren't even a part of the disagreement. You and I never even crossed paths so how you're trying to throw yourself into this situation like you were actually involved and know anything about it, is ridiculous. Read my posts and the multitude of posts of other staff members and BL'ers and see if anyone believes your fairy tale about my "treatment" of them. The only ones I beefed with were the hypocrite admins, and really, just one... so all this crap you're saying about me talking down to everyone makes no sense because if that was the case, they'd all hate me and wouldn't have been sticking up for me since this whole thing went down and even NOW still.. so just stop man because you have no idea what you're talking about. i don't think you're horrible. i covered your ass in rp's several times as i recall when members reported you for abuse. you also don't know what i wrote about you in the senior staff forums. i just think you made mistakes in your conduct. ones that were extremely difficult to overlook because you weren't being cooperative in the slightest. you thought od was your fortress and that it was a separate forum that existed out of bluelight. hence the usual "this is MY FORUM asshole":sus: rants that you were also kindly warned about. and that you were also extremely resistant in cooperating about. this isn't your forum, or my forum, or anyone's forum, it's OUR forum. so in essence, you're really the tyrannical one.

i probably average just as many posts as you do per day. i help people everyday in both homeless and bdd. i answer redundant question after question sometimes and so do my colleagues. i've never ever mentioned this before. why? it's because i do it because i want to. i don't want to sound like the wanna-be model citizen but i like the fact that i can sleep at night having maybe helped a person or two not make a mistake. not because i want a meal ticket to swear at people and staff. otherwise, why even bother ffs. i've been warned once about misconduct before for derailing a thread with an argument over something juvenile before i joined staff (which was before you btw). i fessed up, said sorry, and guess what? my warning was immediately reversed.

you're the one making us out to be like some horrible team of staff. you probably don't even know 3/4 of the staff members and you're already passing prejudice on them. guess what, the fact that you design a forum with its mission wrapped around your bitterness just shows what kind of person you are. again, stop kidding yourself because i can keep this going on and on and the further it goes the more you get exposed and whatever good work you've done here goes to shit. so just shut it and take it elsewhere.

i'll say this as an informal warning, if you want to contribute in this forum, and this thread specifically, make sure it's about improving od. this means no underhanded remarks, no bullshit, no hateful comments masquerading as peaceful ones. so far none of your posts have been censored here, but the longer this derailment continues, the more you're twisting our arms into taking some action. but that's what you want isn't it? a nice temp ban so you can write about it in your site mission. get a grip man.

Again, I will say you have no idea what you're talking about. I love the BL staff here. I had a problem with ONE person, and afterwards, the admins in general. I get along great with a huge number of staff here, and nowhere did I ever bad mouth them.. you put those words in my mouth to try and further your point which was all lies.

You made your point (I guess.. hah did anyone come to your aid and back you up or agree with you? I must have missed that....) and I made mine. So it's up to the public now to decide who's full of shit. Care to guess who that'll be? :\

But, congrats on showing your true colors man. Grade A job. See, everyone already knows me and who I am, despite you trying to make me out to be some monster who disrespects everyone. Well guess what? Everyone knows it's bullshit, but what they do now know, is YOU. Way to go.

+1 for seperate opioid forum, lately OD is 80% heroin + opioid discussion, it clearly has earned it's place and now mostly clutters and quickly buries other topics. While there are many, many, more interesting compounds to discuss..

I don't feel RC's in all their forms or various benzodiazepines or stims would mind being cathegorized as 'other' nor would any other buddies currently residing in OD.

If another sub group grows out to be generating 80% of posts or overal high volume IMHO it's time to pread their wings and get their own forum to make room for new growth..

I could be wrong but think it will have a positive effect on discussion due to overal better oversight. Because now its just mostly opiates and because of it i just check my 55+ subscriptions and once in a while go trough a few pages looking for new topics of interest, but I think those topics are a bit overshadowed atm and more discussion could take place if topics wouldn't get buried.


Btw don't know what the mod drama is about. I can only say Sekio obviously knows his shit, his answers are always very informative and on point and I much appreciate the detail he goes in to when asked or needed. Don't know about social banter but that's not allowed in OD right? (Haven't ran in to MrScagnattie afaik but others clearly apreciated his contributions too)

Ok ok. Both parties have agreed to stop with the bickering for the greater good of the site, so any further posts will be removed.

As for the people saying that the forum has gone to shit, I encourage you to report any posts that need to be moderated. There are hundreds of posts in this forum each day so it's a bit much to expect that the mods here read each and every one. You don't need to be a mod here to help improve the forum.

Mods are just members that are given the tools to guide the discussion in a positive way so if you have good content in your posts then that goes a long way. Anyone that concerned with the wellbeing of this forum can just make good posts and report bad ones. Trust me, that goes a long way considering it's the members here that make this site what it is.

No, but he's 100% right; we do need moderators, but anyone can contribute to making this site better. In the end the main purpose is helping people, anyone can do that; and anyone can make useful posts.

I've actually convinced a couple of people to close stupid threads that were against the rules, so that ought to tell you that you don't need to be a mod to keep shut going.

Also, geeking it up on pubmed helps. ?

Hahahaha, no, in all seriousness, it is just a vast collection of various drug studies(abstracts) from the last few decades.

It is where I get a lot of figures from. For example, oxycodone BA actually being closer to 50% than 80%, buprenorphine having no blockade at low doses, etc.

But, you're gonna have to go a little further for the full course, son! ;)
 
Yeah, they're is a lot of stuff in they're, but not all of them are full articles. I don't use it for anything except studies, though.
