It was one of the best roles Brando ever played, and I just laughed that you think he was overacting.

I'm not a big fan of Brando (or Coppola for that matter) and Francis Ford always gets him to overact. It suited Apocalypse Now more, though. In the Godfather, it just seemed ridiculous to me.

Then again, maybe it was the acid. :)

Wrong - Boondock Saints is a bit overrated but I still love it. Fight Club on the other hand is a widely accepted classic...

But its not overacting, he's very subtle. Especially in Apocalypse Now, he's practically whispering his lines

I also haven't seen any of the Harry Potter movies or the Lord of the Rings movies. I'm not much into action/adventure movies I guess. :\
