^^Utterly fabulous.

And it got hard core panned by the critics too. I was very pleased by it.

i thought this movie was quite good. kinda creepy but i loved the rat scene.

I just saw the movie last night and It kind of bore me. The Michael Alig Shocumentary is better. Check it out.

I have to say that I was very impressed by everyone's performance in the film, they really got into their characters. Get the DVD and check out the special features. I can't believe Keoki even got famous, when I met him he was such a douche...all f-d up on God knows what! :) It's ok film

If you liked the movie, read a book called Clubland...Badass book about Alig, Caruso, the Mafia, the NY and Miami drug scene, etc...Documents the rise and fall of the culture in the 90s...

finally saw this movie last week. it was slightly different from the documentary i saw on the E! channel, but the characters seemed to be portrayed pretty accurately.

it was simply fabulous to see the home alone boy all grown up;)

Yeah, Party Monster was definitely a good come back for Mac. It did a really good job that in the middle of the movie I asked my boyfriend "do you think he r e a l l y is gay? Cuz I mean, he's pretty believable." But I know he's mackin it with the That 70's show chick...forgot her name.

Finally saw this movie . . . absolutely fabulous! I loved it, loved it, loved it! Great film. And for those of you that have seen the original Party Monster documentary from several years ago, was it just me or were many of the scenes in the movie cookie cutter identical to some of the scenes in the documentary? I could have swore that the outlaw party shots from the subway were the exact same, although its been a while since I saw the documentary.

I absolutely love this movie, and book. I saw it in theaters, ran out and bought the book, then after a couple of months, bought the dvd. I actually watched it last night for like the eighth time.

Wilmer Vanderama is so fucking hot...

And I think Macaulay Culkin was excellent in this movie. At first, when I heard talk of the making of the film, I was a little put of because he was playing Michael, but he did great.

And Seth Green is HILARIOUS.

Did anyone see the Sharon Osbourne show where she brought out both Seth Green and the real James St. James? I guess the real J St.J is doing well as an old drag queen in LA. I think he would be an incredible person to meet.

BPM magazine, though I don't recall which month's issue, did an article on the up and coming movie before any previews had come out. From what the article had to say and from what little bits and pieces I got to read from the book, the movie should be worth a watch. If you can find the issue, it also has a letter written by Michael Alig from his prison cell to the mag. Very interesting indeed.

Watched it last night...

OK drug business, fuct-up lifestyles, real life, gotta love it...

I would have liked to seen more drugs

I saw this movie about 2 weeks ago while trying to get Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, I wanted a movie dealing with drugs. So I picked Party Monster. I was impressed by the film and I noticied maculy culkin has been trying to get back his acting career and he played a good role. All the outfits were spectacular and the acting was fabulous ;) Very wierd ending, bizarre and disturbing ;)

I found Party Monster to be quite dissapointing. I did enjoy Seth Green's performance though. Everyone else seemed so cliche and goign through motions though. The documentary was god damn good, Disco Bloodbath was really good too, it has some really good stuff in it. This movie worked on a basic level, but it wasn't what I expected...maybe worth a look though.

i read that book. it even mentions stuff about frankie bones in there and his drug abuse.. it was a good book. and i wish the movie would of been more detailed like the book was. so much more went on, its crazy!!! i would def recommend Clubland..

yeah they really fucked the movie up! Im gonna give it less credit now that I think about it....the documentary was so fascinating, fuck that stupid movie!

Ok I've heard a little bit about this movie, I *kinda* know what it's about but I need somemore clarification. Can someone give a synopsis without giving away any spoilers..? I'm totally confused about the whole Keoki thing as well. And I was reading here about other documentaries about this...can you rent them?

Keoki dated Michael Alig.

But wait. What ever happened to Freez? And how long is Michael Alig supposed to be in jail for?

I liked the movie. It was really funny to see Manson in drag. What's that guys name who played Peter Gatien? Peter Gatien is really alot smaller than that guy (and has gray hair now). Maybe he just looked small at the time, I was considerably fucked up when I met him. IDK if met is the right word, he was actually kicking me and my friends out of the Tunnel because I spit tequila at one of his bartenders as he happened to be walking by.

can someone else attempt to help me here? i would like a synopsis of the movie please w/o any spoilers.
