After finding some real gems in the What are you listening to thread I have come to the conclusion that some of you have fantastic taste in music.

So I want to know your favourite albums.

I have a ton.

Metallica - Master of puppets
Neutral Milk Hotel - In the aeroplane over the sea
Dashboard Confessional - The places you have come to fear the most
Pearl Jam - Backspacer (fuck me is it hard to pick just one, and yes. I didnt pick Ten)
Live - Throwing Copper
The Ataris - Blue skies broken hearts next 12 exits
Sprung Monkey - Get a taste
Staind - Break the cycle
Smashing pumpkins - Mellon Colie and the infinate sadness
Red hot chili peppers - By the way (yup)

Ok Ill stop. Come on EADD, surprise me :)

Oh you little legend you. I searched and was surprised not to find a similar thread.

That'll keep me busy for a while. Thanks :)

this is hard.

for duration and how much i still love them:

Won- As friends rust- bought on the basis of the first 2 bars!

Change is a sound- Strike anywhere- taught me hate and anger don't have to be totally negative.

these 2 are EPs but I hope they count:

Caught up in the moment- Stay Gold - to feel understood when in despair.

S/T- Cutting Class - my reintroduction to the uk punk scene.

I also feel I should mention these:

Canyoneer- No trigger just awesome

Spill your guts- Brutal Youth - only just discovered these guys but totally mint and really positive.

(the links are to free downloads)

finally, went off these for ages because they've turned into such an embarrassment but been relistening and its still awesome:

Illusion of safety- Thrice

Black Sails in the sunset- AFI - sound of my youth!!!!

though if there's any point whatsoever in my writing this i'll be very surprised. most people don't like my music.

No probs. I'll add a few I hadn't mentioned in the old thread just to get things going. :)

6 - Paul Weller Stanley Road

7 - Throbbing Gristle - 20 Jazz Funk Greats

Fuckin' hell, long list, sorry.. tad narcissistic but has really cheered me up, forgot how fuckin' ace music is! Twas hard to narrow it down even to this haha.. I have a lot of time on my hands today and a need to remmebr the wonderous things in life..

Electronic stuff first::: non elect stuff to come later if i can be arsed, got soe absolute gems there too ;)

Enduser - Calling The Vultures.. and Left (hard choice) - pure amazingness <3. Fave artist ever.

MDS - Metric Acid (think its called that, misplaced my copy - one of the life4land crew, pure breakcore-jungle-melodic-beatifulness. Massively underrated, needs more recognition! :)

DJ Hidden
- The Later After - epic melodic dark dnb, beyond words.. :D

Venetian Snares - how the fuck do I pick one??

Shitmat - Full English Breakfast. Bit of a twat, but class album anyway 8)

All the demolition comps (espesh demolition 7) - pure gabba joy!! Shall let this sneak in.. ;)

Sickest Squad
- Celebration of Decerebration (pure frenchcore bouncy gabba) %)

Modeselektor - Happy Birthday - always makes me happy, espesh "let your love grow" and "the white flash" . Listen to it if you need cheering!

Squarepusher - how the fucking fuck do I chose? Right now.. Feed me weird things.. but changes often! 8)

Aphex/Afx - Hangable Auto Bulb. Pure EP perfection :D but also currently loving Drukqs. Again, changes all the time. Arched maid on HAB is best tune everrrr <3

Counterstrike - Insubordination - dnb perfection %)

Broken Note
- Terminal Static (needs to be LOUD and involving good speakers/amp) =D

Aim - Cold Water Music. Lushhhhh <3

Tl;dr - i love gabba/breakcore, raggacore, some dubstep, IDM for want of better word, some genre-defying hardcore music.. Basically, it needs a sick kick with loadsa bass, wicked tune, good atmosphere or be insanely well produced.. or all 4 :D

Hit me up with more suggesions pls BCF and purple haze (and anyone else!) :)

Again soz for long list haha. Was for my own enjoyent really :) forgotten loads am sure.

*sticks some classic albums on*

<3 this thread.. shall investigate others choices shortly, and maybe bless you with my non-electronic list if you're verrry lucky :p;)
