Human Interest DPMC VIDEOS Thread

I have seen this one before. And honestly it's complete bullshit to say that MDMA production is ruining the rain forests. Hell the Cambodian government is doing much more harm to their own land than any production of MDMA will ever do. Other than that i'm sure that they have their own cash flow from production.

^ i reccomend watching that. unless you don't want to lose all hope in obama. cenk really kicks the admin's ass

http://www.youtube.com/user/theyoungturks?blend=1&ob=4#p/u/16/JHS6wxlKkSY

video sum:

the "social security" problem is this: by 2037, we'll be recieving only 78% of our benefits, if we don't add more to social security

but most people think there's some sort of emergency and it's going bankrupt soon

STILL, 85% (majority of repus & dems) don't want to cut any funding to social security

watch as, after giving plenty of money to defense contractors for wars, corp's for bailouts, tax cuts for the wealthy,

now they're gonna cut SS

now the wealthy are taking money from the nonwealthy again... money that we need and that is owed to us

class warfare? are we just gonna take this up our ass?

Police bust up rave...

WHOOPS! Sorry about that, I don't know what that was but here is the link to the video of the rave being busted...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPaiXpVBthM

This is older news, but I found it pretty disturbing and thought I would share it. After watching the video I looked it all up. The way it was handled by police, and the force used, etc is just insane. Helicopters, a swat team, guns, canines, tear gas, tasers, etc. Like what the fuck? Is this really where my tax dollars go to? To bust up a bunch of people dancing to music who COULD be elsewhere causing real trouble?

When I saw the title of this videos I just expected an ordinary police bust, cops freaking out and yelling, etc. I was shocked to see the force they used. Hmm I wonder why the cop was so concerned about being recorded?

Here are some interviews with security that were at the rave after it all took place. They give you more details than you see in the video. It's pretty messed up. 8)

I guess when it happened it was pretty big news, I does anyone remember this??

Rand Paul hints at legalization, strange solution to drug problem

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skDCRqMaAcY

Cenk Uygur of the internet talk show The Young Turks (filling in for Ed Schultz on MSNBC) talks with former NM governor Gery Johnson about legalization and prohibition of marijuana. These two share similar views as I do on legalization.

For me, it's kind of refreshing to see this kind of talk in the main stream media as opposed to the usual "reefer madness" bullshit we're used to.

Lol how do people get hungry when they take LSD? I talk to hot dogs with troll dolls in them all the time.

Our Drugs War

I just stumbled upon this while looking for stuff to download, I've only just started watching it but it seems to have a positive message so far.

Yeah I've watched this, I think it's pretty interesting and honest. The presenter also wrote a good article in the guardian-

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2010/aug/01/angus-macqueen-drugs-trade-policy

"The only way to control and channel this demand is to tell the truth. If a drug really kills, tell us. If it is really dangerous, tell us. But equally, be honest when it is not. Regulate supply via prescription or chemists."

Video: SiHKAL (Shulgins I Have Known and Loved)

SIHKAL: Shulgins I Have Known and Loved

After spending days, weeks, months poring over the work of psychonaut-in-chief, Alexander Shulgin, Hamilton Morris mustered up the chutzpah to give him a call and request an interview. The result is this: an epic love-fest on the man who birthed Ecstasy in a test-tube. Hamilton visits the Shulgin residence (in San Francisco, naturally) and tempers his fanboy freakout with a rare and intensive look at the home and laboratory that caused the balls of millions to trip.
