Avoiding meth psychosis?

well it depends on the severity of the side effects that he experienced. he could have had mild serotonin syndrome, or just taken too much dxm. i know personally i can't tolerant DXM and i don't understand why anyone uses it as a recreational drug, as all it did for me was make me unable to piss for 24 hours and make me very agitated, restless and strange.

diving into high doses of dxm after binging on meth for a long time is probably not such a great idea either. at least wait a little while for your brain to recover a bit before taking the dxm.

my psychosis experience was terrifying. I seem to get closer to that state sooner into the binge than most, 1 night later into the second day I know it's coming(minor hallucinations and jumpy/paranoid), that's when I know it's time to stop and sleep. Weird thing is I don't have a very hard time sleeping. Only do it a couple times a year, more of a snowman. but not overdoing it and getting rest is key
