annoying sayings from drug users

Yeah I try to AVOID sticking out like a sore thumb to police.

I heard that same phrase yesterday from someone in Detroit trying to explain he should not to surpass the 8 mile road.

Anyways.. Some other things we hear a lot is "how crazy is this" "I will never ever be sober in my life" etc.. I had a school friend back in US who had a full theory of how she planned to live high forever. A year after I moved she died. I still think of her and how certain beliefs can turn your life around.

The whole "SWIM" on other forums thing bugs the hell out of me..I just wanna tell those fuckers to take a SWIM in a pool of acid...so glad its not allowed hereXD

I feel like we're getting dangerously close to a "Let's load up the SWIMmers on cattle trains and take them to camps" mentality. It's a simple blunder and people who do it just aren't aware. It's not like they're trying to piss us off. Let's inform them and move on. We don't need to be scaring people away from the forums with this sort of thing.

^ blatant SWIMming doesn't annoy me much, especially if it's somebody who is clearly new to drug forums. However, I do find people who try to be crafty about it, but fail miserably, quite annoying. For example, if somebody asks a question to "help a friend", and then when explaining the problem and giving details, goes into very fine detail on exactly what kind of porn they like, and how many minutes/hours it takes them to finish, or something along those lines - information that they obviously are telling about themselves, not some imaginary friend.

Usually if I see someone start a thread with "SWIM", I just don't even bother reading it. It bugs me more than it should.

I'm with Keif on this one. Just point it out and move on. Edit it out if you're a mod and it's your subforum if you prefer, and add the info to the post. Doesn't bother me unless someone is doing it to 'troll', but I doubt that happens a lot if at all because it's not even funny.

Me too.

"I can't stop." or that together with "I'm not like everyone else."
Strong and powerful beliefs, buildup with time when one addict simply can't admit what's so obvious even to him or herself.

When people say "Weed isn't a drug because it's natural man". So because it's natural, that doesn't make it a drug? What about Morphine and Codeine? Are those drugs? Because according to you they shouldn't be since they're "natural". Is Nicotine not a drug? Since it's found naturally in Tobacco?

Yeah... educate yourself you fools.

"This is because I have a tough life." or similar excuses in order not to own the issue, admit it's you regardless of what life has done to yourself. Difficult to get there..

Erik, I use drugs because >I< can't handle life. Is that one okay, because myself being the problem is still acknowledged? =D

No, not you. ;) I am sure not knowing the issue is not the problem for you. I believe you know what this is all about and made a choice that suits your lifestyle. I don't see you being victimized by your choices but aware of some of the limits we have to accept occasionally.

I can't handle life either, it's complicated. But we are play different, but also very similar roles during our journey and it's all about each one's timming, I suppose.

Namaste, brudder. You probably have one of the better--or best--perspectives on the site, Erik. It is always nice to read your posts.

Lol.. Thanks mate, I don't think I'm quite there yet but we'll get there..

"I'll be over in 30 minutes." Fuck you, it's gonna be more like an hour and 30 minutes.

These are some from a dealers standpoint

"yeah dude i never felt that ____ you sold me" this fucker took half of a tab of some not so strong acid and then complained when he didnt feel anything noticable when he was told the half would be underwhelming and he should take the whole thing.

"Come on bro lookout for me" when given an already good ass price for something and still wanting a lower one.

" You can only take so much acid before you just dont come back"

"ketamine is a fucking horse tranquilizer"

This one isnt really a statement but one time a former friend of mine picked me up and we smoked at his house when i was supposed to be at my dads house (according to my mom) and then recieved a call from my mom in which she asked if i was at my dads house. i said yes and she said okay cause im on the way to pick up a paper your dad was supposed to give me. so then i tell my friend he has to take me back to my dads house so i dont get in mad trouble (my mom always assumes im smoking weed if im caught lying about something and for good reason haha) and he was saying he was too high to drive and being a fucking selfish prick when we literally only smoked 1 bowl of MID!!! he just totally didnt care about the fact that i was gonna get in fucking trouble. fuck that awkward, creepy, lying, selfish friend anyways

"mxe has meth in it"

Also hate the oh so annoying stigmas that are always applied to coke and opioids. meanwhile they are taking mdma every weekend. (refering to specific instance lol)

all dealers standpoints are theoretical nosense ive heard over the years:p

OHHHHH FORGOT THIS ONE, ANOTHER DEALER STANDPOINT ONE

"yeah but how much did YOU pay for it" or any fucking statement when asking what I bought something for.

was also asked one time to front something for someone and then they asked me to drive to them, HELL NO i aint driving to you im already doing a front!!!!!

all dealers standpoints are theoretical nosense ive heard over the years:p

Most illegal drugs can have adverse cardiovascular effects, ranging from abnormal heart rate to heart attacks. Injecting illegal drugs also can lead to cardiovascular problems, such as collapsed veins and bacterial infections of the blood vessels and heart valves.

Many drugs, such as cocaine, heroin and various forms of amphetamine, affect the central nervous system and can alter a user's consciousness. In addition to addiction, the side effects and risks associated with use of these drugs include:

changes in body temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure
headaches, abdominal pain, and nausea
impaired judgment and greater risk of some sexually transmitted infections
the added danger of added substances (such as talc, poisons, herbicides or other particles) which may cause a toxic reaction.
possibility of added substances (such as talc, poisons, herbicides or other particles) which may cause a toxic reaction.
heart disease , seizures, and respiratory arrest
