Nice to see some real slang :D

Dinlo
Pikey word. means a light that doesn't shine brightly!!
He's a proper dinlo that one (not the cleverest)

chaw - to steal

The word is of course "chore" but with your sassenach pronunciation you've dropped the R.

It apparently has Romany roots but my Pakistani friend seemed to think it was part of his language, Punjabi I believe.

You writing Geordieisms makes me realise how much my local dialect is fading since moving down south!

I still say Canny, Graft, and wrecked.

I picked up saying 'That's proper hangin' with emphasis on the g in a manc accent (meaning disgusting) when I lived in Manchester. Also used to describe a shit hangover.

Dinghy, I like that one. It doesn't sound right when I use it though.

Was using this one today. Totally forgot about it. Dunno if it's been mentioned already

Gammy: A blow job. " Gie's us a gammy"

Say if I had conjunctivitus, I'd say I had a gammy eye, meaning gunky. Could get confusing if I came round your house :D

"I've got a lob on"

Aye, used to hear people at school saying that Kate - just call it a chubby myself, like

Yeah, Roby uses Lob on. Nah, my mates call it a gammy.

CS: Yeah, I also use gammy in that way. I currently ( and for the past four years ) have a gammy toe 8(
