Television Intervention

I like the one from a couple weeks back I think it was.... "GABE". I don't know why but that one really touched me. I also liked the "jeff" episode. I like the one from the other week, I forget her name though, the mother who had mental issues and her husband left with the kids and wouldn't even take part in the intervention but claimed to love her and such....I wonder if she ever got her kids back...

Sebastian and Marcel. For some reason that episode kinda hit close to home. I could see familiar aspects in it. Similar families, culture, family morals, etc. I felt like those two could be my brothers lol. Unfortunately they both dropped out of rehab after a few months. In the follow up it said that they both moved back home and claim to be clean. One of them developed a Xanax habit too i believe.I tried to find more info on them and i read somewhere that the one with the Xanax habit (Marcel) had passed.

I haven't seen any of the new season yet. But Bluelight's own occasional visitor robcypher ("Ben"), the guy who ripped off the prostitute and shoplifted DXM would have to get my vote.

Cristy obviously gets an honorable mention for trainwreckage, and the alcoholic mom who drank mouthwash in front of her kids was probably the one that made me the saddest.

Sebastian and Marcel brought me to tears, because an ex-boyfriend of mine and his brother had a similar heroin habit, and it just hit too close to home.

There was an episode about a man named Bret, who was an alcoholic that got to me too. I usually don't get too interested in the alcohol episodes, but this guy was out of control and at the intervention he refused help even though his two children were literally hanging onto him as he walked out of the hotel, screaming and crying - and he still refused rehab. Turns out he died a few weeks later from esophageal cancer.

But as I've said before, Cristy will always be #1 for me!

Favorite Intervention Episode

My fav is probably a tie between 'Chrissy' the nut case, meth head that lived in her parents guest house and ran around naked all the time AND that one girl that was addicted to inhalants (you know, the one whos face looked all contorted).

Also, does anyone else get a sick twisted joy from watching these type of shows? For me, it's almost like 'Well, at least I don't have it as bad as THAT guy.' OR, in some cases it's like 'I'm glad I'm not like that anymore.'

I call Monday nights 'Everyone elses pain Monday.' Intervention followed by Hoarders. Gotta love it!

I like the episodes with the girls since I am one, and the ones that are addicted to pills or heroin.

BRAD
the alcoholic

he would take double shots for sargeant diesen!
"working in a liquor store isnt a good job for an alcoholic"
hahaha

Hey guys ,
I missed episode 115 "Shane". I can't seem to find a link to the full episode anywhere.
Do anyone have it?

I just rewatched "chris". The gay alcoholic. I found it touching. Just to learn that he relapsed out of rehab and then killed himself. Makes me sad for his partner.

The show, like most reality tv shows in america is over dramatised and partially stages,
i think some of them are fake too
idk, i just dont like the show, its kinda sick, they should just be helping theese people with their addictions rather then filming it,

Does anyone remember an episode where a girl is asked to go to rehab and she says "ill go but first let me smoke a cigarette" then she goes outside and eats a big bag full of meth then gets on the plane to rehab higher than the plane!

The one which aired about 2 weeks ago, "cassie" who did meth and work for paul mitchell, Well that took place at the hotel i worked in so that has to be my favorite one. ...

Cristy was the most entertaining to me . . . she was definitely in meth psychosis I think, probably my favorite epsiode (though Ben was the most likeable). Alyson was probably my least favorite . . . provigil is worthless as an amphetamine. Seriously.

I like the one where the smart kid is addicted to dextromethorphan, it's interesting because i've had a friend or two addicted to this stuff and it's the closest thing to a psychedellic that they've documented on that show.

I like watching the meth episodes too!
