I need to wait at least a week before I have any more acid but I'll experiment with what you are suggesting next time I trip. I did actually learn a bit about tolerance from some scientific research papers. Admittedly one of them involved giving acid to cats so maybe not the best evidence.

Assuming by 87.5 you mean 87.5 µg (or .00875 mg) you should expect not to feel normal at all that day. There will be an underlying source of anxiety but no pay-off for its tolerance. I say save the hit for one person or two, max. In my experience and opinion, half-assed trips suck terribly. If you're gonna trip, make it count. Go for the gusto. Just be safe about it in the right set and setting, and allow the vibes to always be mellow, jubilant, festive, and filled with laughter. If you're looking for an introspective trip, remember to stay fair and speak nicely to yourself, especially since you'll be really, really listening.

I don't really have a choice to take more. We only have 2 quarter pieces for each of us. According to my stepsister, she said the whole gel pyramid contained 350mcg or mg (not sure how LSD dosage works). She kept half for herself and let me have the other for me and my man to quarter, meaning each quarter is 87.5. I haven't done acid in years and was never a regular user, so I'm assuming my tolerance has greatly dropped.

And yeah there is almost no way the hits are actually 350ug. Almost every single vendor overstates their dosages. A Bluelighter collected tabs from many dark web vendors that were all very highly rated, years ago, with high dosages stated. They sent one each to a lab and reported the results. Almost all were much lower than stated... "250ug" tabs were actually 60-80ug. "350ug" tabs were actually 100-120. Etc. 87.5ug is actually a full dose that is on the lighter side but it is stronger than many full tabs. But it's highly unlikely that you actually will be ingesting anywhere near that much.

I guess how i feel about it is that I don't wanna lose myself but I also want it to be worth my time.

I've seen a video where a cat was given LSD for research. Broke my heart. :(
 
im sure animals on lsd are totally fine they probably evolved a bit during the trip. next thing ya know they take over the world

His lack of empathy towards animals is alarming. I'm no preachy vegan (though I have been a vegetarian since I was 14), but that just seemed cruel. I've always been in favor of testing drugs on violent criminals or death row inmates instead of animals. Also, I would think the drug studies would be more accurate if they were tested on humans.

I think vets have prescribed things like tramadol and valium to animals, so at least your dog's experience was much less likely to be downright horrific.

That's what I was thinking at the time. But she is way smarter than me and as soon as she saw that pill in my hand she was uncatchable. Plus she was already freaked out by my having eyes like dinner plates. SHe stayed well away from me for hours. Anyway it turns out that when vets give animals valium they give it rectally. So next time I go insane I'll have to remember to sneak up on her from behind.
 
One other thing - what time are you taking it? A dose like that is best taken as something to make the day a little more bright and jolly - so take it at breakfast time so you can walk in the sun rather than at night when you are stuck in a room all the time.

It was a nightmare just trying to find a decent hotel. Flagstaff was worse, in my opinion. The whole town looked literally ass backwards when driving in. Seriously, like many the building entrances were facing away from the road. It was nuts. I was mostly sober at the time too.

Yeah phoenix is a lot like DFW, never thought about it like that but it's true.

Now you've seen the effects of how the sun fries everyone's brain in AZ and they're all ass backwards crazy 😂😂

My cats and other animals used to get really weird when I tripped around them, but over time as I became more comfortable in the psychedelic state, now I almost become a magnet, it seems like they're very interested and want to hang out near me. I'm sure it's because the energy and body language I'm putting out is much less alarming than it once was.

my cat always chilled in my lap while i was on acid or mushrooms. But my dog freaks out when im on shrooms or on massive doses of acid yet the cat is chill always. then i got new kittens and had to climb a tree on 2.5 tabs because one of them got stuck lol. kittens chill when on acid aswell

I have been to those cities but I was traveling with my dad who used to live in Arizona and had been to all of those cities. He was in Phoenix decades before the massive sprawl it became.
