Drug Slang! [MegaThread]

The only real slang for money around here that's worth the name is "C note" for $100 notes.

Oh, there's the coin ones as well "loonie" for a $1 coin cause it has a loon on it (which are beautiful birds with the best call ever) and "toonie" for a $2 coin because it's two loonies.....has polar bears on it otherwise.

But paying for drugs with loonies and toonies is obviously a piss-take

Though, I did once buy K for a dear friend from an old Vietnamese lady at an underground club with a handful of coins. The dealer didn't want my money and gave me the vial of K anyway.
She was too embarrassed to approach this serious crew of old Vietnamese gangsters in the corner....I must have been feeling good cause I didn't give a fuck.

Though of another term that we use a lot: "yamming zoomies" or any combo of that with pronouns such as "when are you going to yam those zooms?"
or "and then I yammed the zoomies"

Just means mowed the zooms/mushrooms. Ate them.

But 'yam' means "to eat" in other contexts as well.

Nah mate, she looked so disgusted with me. It wasn't my finest moment I will say, even though I didn't give a fuck at the time.

Maybe it's a Toronto thing though, the generosity....I give my mushrooms out for free. ;)

Second half of a cigarette - check, shorts, kill, snipe

Curious what other people call this.
2nd half of cig is 'twos/2s' the last few puffs is 'saves'
"2s on that pal?" or "lets get saves on that?"

Last puff on a joint - 'best bit' - or as my dad calls it, 'the final kiss' lol

Deuce .....it's used for everything from second puff to just before "kills" which is always the last puff but is more often the last third because your crew are all cheap bastards

Do you guys use "kill" singular only? Here it's only the plural "kills"

Reminded me....some of us say "Can I get a sip off that?" when asking for a pull on a smoke.
We used to say as a joke, lets go drink a zoot and smoke a wet, and when passing or asking the zoot, say, you wanna swig on this? Or lets get a swig on that?

'wet' was our slang for beer, aka, lets get wetted up, or lets go for some wets, or "i am fucking wetted"

In usa to smoke a wet means smoke pcp i think, id love to do that

Wetted! Wets!

Bruuuuv, that around here would probably be slang for something sexual. Entirely reminds me of the term "getting it wet".

Yea haha, it can be a good inuendo when talking to girls, especially if they don't understand the slang already
It can go something like
(stood at bar, girl walks up)
"fancy a wet, love?"
"excuse me" (thinking your being sexual)
"a wet, you know, a drink"
"oh i see" (looking embarrassed)
"come on, dont u wana get wetted up?" *smirk*
She blushes even more
*commence raising of eyebrows*
Etc
😂😂😂

I always used it as a basketball term.

"Kids on fire."
"Yep. He's wet."

In that context it doesn't really make sense.

Just trust me.

;)
Yea recently here I've noticed people saying things are cold or icy when other people are saying they're hot or fire, and they all mean the same thing lol

It’s also interesting how drug slang has changed

originally “speed “ referred to racemic amphetamine (adderall ). These days “speed” generally means d-methamphetamine

“Speedball” originally referred to cocaine + morphine together in a single needle . These days “ speedball” means cocaine + heroin together in a single needle .

According to one or two of our little community here it's outdated (and I've not had the time to update and release a new version as promised on another thread)! 🤪

Until then: enjoy (all 124 pages)!

Stop reading those old books! 🤣
