Unfortunately eventually I got some tainted bags that resulted in a very nasty abscess which got me thinking enough to get on bupe.

that's terrible- and not even just the abscess, just the fact that whatever it was also went thru the circulatory system (not mentioned with the intent to rub it in by any means, just an observation). scary stuff.

interesting post KR - never been to vermont except to pass thru to montreal, but i always imagined it's be difficult to lock down a good connect & a contant stream due to how rural the area is. i wonder what the closest "hub" is, for those dealers to re-up from.

ive read articles that mention people from VT getting arrested in Springfield. considering people from ME and Northern NH drive to Lawrence wouldn't be surprised if some of the supply comes from there. no idea what Albany and Montreal are like.

Well, the answer is there is absolutely no way of ever knowing if there are cops on the boards, so you have to treat the situation as if everyone is a cop. It's not like LE has never used the internet to solicit black market drug, prostitute buyers. Some people I've encountered over the years are genuinely hilarious though with the things they post, like, stuff so obvious that they couldn't possible be legit.

I thought that was a good read too. Vermont sounds a bit like upstate NY where the dope is copped from very professional Dominicans in Wash. Heights and then distributed by lazy junkie fuck whiteboys (and girls, too, most of whom are tricking on the side.) Getting dope be it a bag or a couple bundles was an 8-10 hour affair quite often altho we eventually met the dominicanos in the hub of the local distribution network who were giving the goods to.most of the white trash middlemen then shit was gravy. Other whiteboys were doing the drive to and from the city themselves but mostly at a small scale to support their own habit, they were 3/4 of the time either unreachable or dry but often had the best shit

Sorry for the double post. But anyway, I live in Vermont currently and have for the past few years. Previously I was living the Lowell, MA area and yes, the scene is completely different in VT (worse). The price is at best double what you would pay in Lawrence, but most likely triple. Some only do stamp bags in one increment, no matter how many you buy. You can imagine the increment I'm talking about.

Most of the people you will deal with are white and a good portion of them are users themselves, which is obviously always a bad thing. Rip offs happen, people often go bust from using their own supply and randomly rob you, just bullshit. When I dealt with the Dominican gangs who work Lawrence, they were always really cool. They were generally on time, the quality was generally good. Granted, a "gram" would often be 0.8, but that's just how it is. It was always raw. I never knew stamps before I came to Vermont actually, although I had heard of them.

The major trend for people in Vermont is to go to Springfield, MA as opposed to Lawrence, MA. I can tell you one thing. Almost always when I had scored in Springfield, the bags would be taped, whereas in Burlington, VT, the bags are almost never taped. I don't know if you guys have heard of any of these.

Yeah most dudes coming from vt were copping in Holyoke but that got dumb hot cause they pull over every vt plate so now it seems dudes brightened up and are meeting in spfld. I've heard what u guys pay in vt for buns and it's nuts, might as well buy 30s for 30 lol. It's straight robbery out there, I feel 4u guys up there. If you are getting that sort of reaction it's because your cottons are full of bacteria. I've been reading this thread for years (even though I live in Australia) but I actually relate more to the US threads, I think because of my habit. Hey thanks for the info I had no idea what I was doin to myself...when you're addicted and sick you really don't think about the consequences afterwards just the immediate relief(which really I don't usually feel anything) but after reading your post I'm definitely gonna chill on those cotton shots...I'm glad you think I'm on e of the "good ones"...I consider myself a person who unfortunately has to use dope to feel good about themselves...I'm an old school junkster been doing it since 1987 and happy that I've survived thus so far...I really have it in my mind constantly to stop already and try the suboxone. Been on MMT many times and I guess it doesn't work for me so I'll try something else. I just know I'll have to be on some sort of medication for the rest of my life...I don't try to screw anyone over or steal for my habit. It's not in my nature I'm laidback and friendly with everyone and hope to be treated the same...drugs are a sometimes dirty and backstabbing business but I try to be honest and nice to all...Thanks mate!!! ^Sounds like you made peace with your situation.That's half the battle.And if you made it this far you deserve to live with dignity.Believe me,I know,been at it myself for even longer than you with the same "do unto others attitude".Maybe that's how we made it this far but I admit,there are days when I question if making it to this stage/age is a curse or a blessing.

As for the cottons,I found that even sucking on them can help with the sneezes but that's about it. The taste alone can be comforting.

Hey Raz, Hah hah no problem at all! Yeah I get the impression your situation is very similar to mine. I've been using since 87 as well and I have never stolen or screwed anyone over either, well except myself and the amount of debt I am in which is horrendous! I'm on methadone and have been for years but on a fairly low dose but I'm just about to go up in dose again. Unfortunately for me I can't take suboxone, it's gives me headaches and makes me feel sick however I know a few people that stopped using years ago when they started sub maintenance. This thread is dedder than ded....Well not much to report my ways except my dude down the street that cops by grams and bags it himself had had the usual ehhhh stuff so when he said he had new stuff I was like okaaay whatever and i bought my bags. When I saw it at first I was like wtf is this shit, it's dark gray in color and he gave me a solid rock of this stuff...then I remembered I read somewhere maybe here that it comes in a few colors besides white or brown and it had that distinctive "vinegary" smell. I think if I would have bought this from some schmo I didn't know I would probably have thrown it out but since I've dealt with this guy for years and I'm familiar with who he gets it from...I took a chance...crushed a bit of it up as best I could and threw a 30 in the spoon...dissolved pretty quickly and I shot it nervously bit by bit and waited....didn't feel much then WOOOOOOOOW....holy shit I was nodding sooo hard I could barely do my work then I got home and hopped on the computer. Well that was a waste of time cause I couldn't keep my face off the keyboard, haha...This stuff had me WICKED JAMMED all right!!! Lasted all night too...so when he asked me how it was I was like ehhh pretty good...cause u know damn well if you tell him it's fire he'll fucking stomp on it then it's back to shit....but i was truly amazed how good this shit is for once....other than that it's been the Donuts which are good and I Love Yous which are total crap unless you shoot like 6 or 7 bags at once.
