Official Amsterdam/Netherlands Questions Thread

In Amsterdam now for AMF. Who are the best people to seek out for the best pills?

Where would I find them?

I was there a while back, I was staying in a nice hotel and was offered pills in the reception area :D the guy had pretty much anything you wanted and at reasonable prices. I couldnt be arsed with him though as he was off his face, I went across the road for breakfast and was approached again asking if I wanted pills :D. Get yourself to the red light area, any of the squares, get yourself a bike taxi around the place etc, the many smoking places etc.

Sourcing, giving specific locations for sourcing etc is not allowed - so please be careful and respectful of the rules (and save the mods some time).

Ask the promoters. They always bring some for random's who turn up. You have to speak Dutch though.

Has anyone got a decent site for checking what club/warehouse type events are on in the Netherlands for the rest of this year? Was going to book a festival in December somewhere else but the line up has been better.

Most nights don't add club listings until nearer the time so just keep checking back.

I was there last month and there was nothing listing until that month then loads showed up:)

I'm off to Amsterdam in just over a week. It's my first time, so I'm pretty excited, to say the least! I'm going to take some pills/MDMA with me, in case I can't find anything. I don't want to spend all my time hunting for drugs. I don't expect they'll be too thorough with searches on the way out...

It's hard not to find drugs in Amsterdam. There seems to be a looky looky on nearly every fucking corner.

I'm originally Dutch and have a Dutch surname. not that that's relevant to anything....... Just felt like mentioning it.........

The "wietpas" - a system designed to stop foreigners buying cannabis in coffeeshops, which was widely adopted in the southern provinces of the Netherlands - is slowing losing ground.
15 July 2016 was the day that Eindhoven officially scrapped it's wietpas policy. To celebrate we travelled to Eindhoven and bought 5 g of nice hash in coffeeshop Pink.
