Can a straight person have a slightly homoerotic dream?

My mind is me... there's no difference between my mind and myself. So if I need some outside source to change me, then who am I?
i'm assume but i honestly don't think you truly believe that. if you did, why would you be wasting your time posting on bluelight so much?
My brain is find...
your brain is find? lolirony.

It's not a belief it's a basic truth. Plus, even if I ask people for advice, it's still all me. All of us are acountable for ourselves, no matter how we feel. It doesn't matter if I believe it or not, it's an unending universal truth that only an individual can change an individual.

What made you angry or depressed about being bi?

Don't really know... I just sorta was. Sure environment had some aspect to it. I mean, yea, everyone I grew up with was kind of homophobic, but not really. However, I never gave a shit what anyone else thought about me on anything else, so I doubt it's 100% the cause in this case.
I just felt like it was weird, gross and not normal. That might be partially from my upbringing but not the end-all-be-all reason

Just embrace your bisexuality, and accept it. This does not mean that you have to act upon your sexuality, unless of course you want to do this.

Repressing/denying your bisexuality is not going to help. Good luck.

I'm sorry, but I don't live in a goddless, soulless world. I can change, lots of people can change... To deny that is to deny the experiances of thousands who have reached a higher state of spirituality and changed their sexuality. Islam, Christianity, Scientology, and even Timothy Leary have experimented and succeeded in changing sexuality. Some call it God, some thank auditing, but in reality.. it's all the power we have inside of us. Thoughts are our soul and we have power

This man is ex-trans... Being ex-trans is way harder than being ex-gay. There's no question in my mind that people can change. Ex-LGBT people need to stand up and stop taking shit from these far-left activists trying to undermine us.

a high cleric of the Vatican just came out being gay, because he couldn't take it anymore living a shadow life. he might disagree with you ;)

In other words his religion is pointless. He's a fool who can't even live by his own religion yet clings to it. By his own faith, he's a worthless abomination that deserves to be stoned, yet he clings to his dumb religion. It must suck worshiping a god that doesn't love you and wants to set you on fire forever.
Of course he can't change... He can't do anything when his religion doesn't even further him spiritually. I don't see why he just doesn't become atheist.

As for me, I don't allow my religion to put boarders on my spirituality.

There was a point in the dream where I hugged my friend who was weeping and I felt good doing it. Not as in I felt like doing anything sexual, but I felt good giving and recieving emotional support.
You clearly stated that hugging in this scenario means "giving and receiving emotional support". You know who else gives and receives emotional support? Friends, parents, counselors, etc,

Maybe you should think about becoming a friend or a parent or a counselor, instead of becoming "gay".

Let me help you with that

Nobody says that just because you are Lesbian, bisexual, or gay and out or have accepted your sexuality that this means that you're atheist or spiritually void. The same goes for someone who is trans that elects to transition.

Those people in the link who have regrets about having a sex change operation/surgery are not trans.

I remember when it was not as easy to get a sex change surgery or even take hormones, and when a person had to see multiple psychologists and psychiatrists who deemed that the person who would be getting the surgery or taking the hormones was actually trans.

The religions of Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism have not actually changed anyone's sexuality as this cannot be changed any more than someone's genes or race can be.

$cientology is not a religion and is a cult.

Timothy Leary was a joke, burned out what intelligence he had with psychedelics and other drugs, and did not change anyone's sexuality, and he was bisexual.

I've noticed that Roman Catholics have this viewpoint about God, that God is going to punish them, hurt them, etc. and it's not surprising that a lot of them become atheist or leave the Roman Catholic church and officially become different sects of Christianity where God is not seen as someone or something that's going to punish or harm them.

But to believe it's 100% impossible to change is much different than deciding

Who are you to decide that?

I remember when it was not as easy to get a sex change surgery or even take hormones, and when a person had to see multiple psychologists and psychiatrists who deemed that the person who would be getting the surgery or taking the hormones was actually trans.

And we should just blindly trust them?

The religions of Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism have not actually changed anyone's sexuality as this cannot be changed any more than someone's genes or race can be.

That is bullshit. Sexual fluidity exists. And either way, what's the point of believing in any religion if that religion can't impact who you are? There is no "gay gene", just factors in brain chemistry that predispose people to homosexuality. Even if there was a gay gene, people could still transcend it spiritually.

Again... there's no purpose in believing in any religion if you don't think it can better your life. And if you don't believe in anything, I'm wasting my time. If you're an atheist there's no way you'd accept the existence of the supernatural.

$cientology is not a religion and is a cult.

All religions are money worshipping cults. However, the intention behind scientology is the best intention for any religion. I'm not doubting that there's something to the religion

Timothy Leary was a joke, burned out what intelligence he had with psychedelics and other drugs, and did not change anyone's sexuality, and he was bisexual.

According to people who he counselled during LSD sessions, 7 out of 12 reported changes in sexuality.

That's the judeo-christian God.... He hates gays and well... 90% of the world. People totally misinterpret the bible when they say God loves everyone.

But regardless you can change your sexuality without a specific religion.

There's no equation for the human mind
Sure there is. Artificial intelligence mimics our behavior all the time.

What you are failing to see is that you cannot reprogram your innate being. Don't be afraid to be yourself.

Why not, actually go hug your friend? Are you afraid you will get a boner or what?

Yea, but AI isn't really aware of itself like a human or animal. And you can reprogram yourself. Thoughts can affect brain chemistry. What are the limits of neuroplasicity? We know thought patterns can change the brain. That alone tells me the brain isn't the only source of consciousness. And how much do we actually know about the brain? How many aspects of it are undiscovered. We know more about the stares than we do about the oceans... the brain is probably the same way. We know more about how billion year old galaxies work than we do ourselves.

Plus, even if you can't change your brain, it doesn't mean you can't transcend it completely and become one with your soul. If you're an atheist and don't believe in souls, then well.. no point in debating since we disagree on the fundamental nature of existence

Which is all the more reason to stand up and be proud of who you are.

There's also no point in having this debate in SLR either
