I hear what you're saying, but no-one would do that, because it wouldn't make sense.

Perhaps things have changed since my Higher Physics and (the beginnings of a failed) Engineering Degree. Back in my day when voltage was recently invented, V = voltage and that was the end of that.

Now, what other trivial matters should I pick over today? I'm gonna head over to the nostaligia thread, that should do it. :|

I think the bar was just lowered ;) I'm all packed up. stripped out a load of things I didn't need. Off tomorrow lunchtime to the north, where people talk weird are more friendly, and mayonnaise goes on your chips =D
 
Excuse me, I'm a northerner and believe me, mayonnaise NEVER goes on chips - only tomato sauce!! In fact, what the fuck IS mayonnaise? ;)
 
you get two choices here, 'red sauce' or 'brown sauce'. I prefer salad cream.
 
Maybe it's a newcastle thing? I have memories because my mum used to live there when I was little, with her mum who was a geordie. I dunno, you've cast doubt. Mayonnaise with chips is lovely as a side note..
 
Mayonnaise on chips, and an improved design of steel tape measure which is literally twice as useful as the usual British pattern, are just two of the cool things I discovered on the Continent.

Am thinking I should have listened to Sham and gone to the hospital about the cut on my finger. Think I could have done with a stitch or two. Am currently sat here with tape on it keeping the flap from catching on every damn thing. Would have been nice to have a bit of super glue to hand at the time. Oh well.....
