What RPGs are you guys playing?

anyone else playing dragon age: inquisition ? 10 hours in, and barely scratched the surface. spent probably 2 hours in character creation ;p ... felt overwhelming at first but now gettin the hang of it and sucked in. f'n lovin it =)

lookin at other games and around 10 hour mark i'd be nearing completion heh... this shit is gonna be LONG and then there are other choices to make for another playthrough oh boy

^I got really frustrated by the level scaling aspect in Skyrim. It seemed like the best strategy was to stay at level 1 so the encounters don't ramp up in difficulty, which really diminishes the character building aspect of an RPG. I guess I like the feeling of going back to earlier areas and laying waste to everything in my path; not finding that the lowly bandits have turned into world destroyers along with me.

I just re installed WoW and been playing the new expansion.
Fuck wish my laptop had a mouse lmao. It's been pretty exciting, been taking out level 99s in the bgs with my 90.withoutz a mouselolol

I've been playing Dragon Age Inquisition, finished everything in it the other day. Diablo 2 will always be one of my favorites, I just purchased baldurs gate 2 for $9.99usd on Google Play, also been playing The Bards Tale on my tablet, also from the google play store, it was for ps1 way back. I'm looking forward to the releases of The Witcher 3, Fable Legends, and Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded, and Fallout 4.

Just got Middle Earth: Shadow of Morder last weekend and have been playing this week. It got such amazing reviews and was named Gamespot's Game of the Year. On top of that I've always been a huge J.R.R. Tolkien fan, and I realllyyyyyy want to like this game, but I can't help but find it a little repetitive and boring. Such a shame.

Are you being for real right now❕❓❔❔ that game FUCKING SUCKS!

Yep. I'm not sure how it got such rave reviews. The whole orc nemesis system is kind of neat but doesn't make up for the fact that all the whole game really is is walking around and killing orcs with the same couple buttons. You either have the option to try to do that stealthily or to just charge in and fight them, but it's the same thing over and over and over again. I was really disappointed.

Aren't most RPG games repetitive and boring? I honestly don't see their appeal.

Playing again Baldurs Gate Trilogy. Really big and good RPG game on PC's. It is much better than Baldurs Gate Enhanced Edition.

The Mass Effect series was my all time favorite RPG. A lot of people didn't like the ending of 3, but I guess I might be the only person who was actually okay to with how it ended.

Oh my fucking God.... you just reminded me that I forgot to finish my initial Mass Effect 3 playthrough before I sold that fucking 360 and bought a PS4.

FUCK! FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK!

I had meant to do it but I'm pretty sure I bought Mass Effect 3 to hold me over while I waited for GTA5 to initially release, and when I got my hands on GTA5 I basically said fuck putting Mass Effect 3 in the back seat and threw that sum bitch out the driver-side window.

FUCK. I know I've read the ending was controversial but I don't even know what the fuck happened. FUCK!

I love the elder scrolls games for xbox but I've heard mixed things about the newish MMO that's out. what did you guys think of it?

Elder scrolls online would be a good quality mmo if the elder scrolls wasn't already a well established series of rpgs. Any expectations you may have going into it won't be met because an mmo by its nature can't operate with the same level of freedom, exploration, depth, etc, that an elder scrolls game should have. Bethesda didn't even head the production it was made and is updated by Zenimax, so if you are thinking about getting into mmos it may be worth a shot, but it really shouldn't be considered an elder scrolls game.

Kind of what I was thinking
Though I'd really like to see a two player coop for elder scrolls. When skyrim came out my boyfriend and I slept in shifts, so this would have come in handy

Lol!

There's another single-player Elder Scrolls game in the works, at the moment. As far as I know it's all rumors and a bit of leaked information, but I think it's set to be called Argonia and take place in all of Tamriel.

So yeah, if that turns out to be true you and your guy might just want to up and buy a second system. That would be a ridiculously massive game.

wwwwwaaaaat

That sounds so absolutely epic
I wonder how they're gonna work that much data.. I'm sure it will be multidisc

I dunno, man, they're managing to fit a lot of stuff into these next-gen games. I hope to God I never see a multi-disc game again in my life.... There was nothing worse than finally getting FF8 when I was younger after my brother was done playing it, only to get through 3 discs to find out the 4th and final one was absolutely fucked.

I've hated multi-disc games ever since.
