[MEGA] The Wax/Honey Oil/Dabbing Mega thread vs. Dab city bitch, dab dab city bitch

Bout to do a nice dab here of some Raskal OG oil, high CBD tested at 39.5% , this stuff is amazing, God how I love Seattle!
 
Its high time we have a Mega thread dedicated stricktly to the most recent trend in cannabis culture: Dabbing and the use of wax or honey oil!!

Although there have been many extracts for cannabis for quite some time, such as hash, but the popularity of wax and the common smoking method:Dabs!!!

So from now on all Dabbing related thread will go here!

What do you guys prefer domeless nail or dome?
I use a dome cuz I think it saves more smoke from floating away? but a lot of oil/rez that run out the bottom of my dome on the glass on glass piece. So I was think of getting a domeless one so I don't have oil all over my rig. What do u think wasts more?
 
I just made some real nice honey oil the strain just wouldent butter up but its fucking gorgeous! and tastes amazing but to the hole holding it in thing I do belive its impossible to get all the bad things out of any butane extract no matter how you purge it ive never tried to blast straight into water tho
 
I just shoot straight into water an it work a lot better then u would think an it way easy to collect u just use your dabber to pick up the hash .then after that I put it in a dehumidifier for a 30min or so then mixed it then put it back in until it was nice little butter balls that taste an smell just as good as the bud I put in.
 
I have been dabbing since i started this thread, and I have to say that it is awesome, but at the same time...overwhelming. I have been smoking trees for ten years and after a while the small side effects like getting burnt out a couple hours later, and paranoia all seem to disappear after a long period of time of smoking....Once I started to dab, that all came back because it is just so fucking strong. Dabbing in the morning will make me burnt out the rest of the day (similar as if I took 20 bong hits in a row). I definitely save money smoking the oil though....Its fun but meant for the big potheads, not amateurs....

I enjoy shatter but, my preference is the bottom oil. I prefer to drop chunks of dry oil on the nail.

Just a typical EtOH wash most of the time. I have experimented with many solvents as well.
I don't perform a wash too often. As I said previously, I prefer the other oil shown. If your looking for actual instructions I can PM you.

I have many many pictures. But, I only posted two as I don't see pictures too often on BL.

Forget the shatter technique. Just throw the butane can in the freezer (that way it comes out straight as liquid) then put the tube INTO the water and blast. Make sure the bottom of the tube is INSIDE the water, just do it in a bowl. It's so simple. Scoop out shit and your good.

^ is there a reason you extract like that? I don't prefer a water bath with my oil. But, I also do not often use canned butane.

What kind of extractors you guys using?

I guess it's more of a budder. It just makes it a easier process and the butane evaporates and bubbles up as oil goes in. So no purge process, just let it dry. Actually I don't know if budder is the correct term. It's oil

If you don't purge, then a lot of the butane and whatever's in the can is left over. This will collapse your lung and is worse than just smoking... BHO is ONLY healthy if it has been heated and vacuum purged AT THE SAME TIME

Your misunderstanding the process. The whole process is a purge as it comes out.
