Salt and vinegar chips are the best. I don't know why anyone bothers with cheese and onion.

If I started talking about Doritos & Cheetoh hot fries now I bet I would get my post deleted and maybe a warning for off topic posts...
So not fair ;)

Yes I think that is a bit cheeky of me. What I intended to demonstrate was that everyone has different preferences. I didn't really want to start a discussion on the best flavour of chip!

As a heavy user with a significant tolerance, I find 80mg to 100mg to be the sweet spot. If I put 100mg into a single line and snort it, I receive satisfactory effects. I won't M-hole but that is not what I would be going for on such a dose. In my experience this drug is best when used lightly, not in excess. I unfortunately have such a high natural tolerance to it now that I require 100mg+ doses to receive effects where I feel like I don't need any more.

For those who are new to this compound, upwards of 50mg is recommended. I personally recommend splitting up dosing, for example if you were to do 100mg like I would normally do, I'd do 50mg then wait 5 to 10 minutes and finish off the remaining 50mg. Staggered dosing just works out better in my experience and I'm sure many here will agree with me.

Not exactly the best advice bud. 50mg and up for people new to this compound? Seriously? Not everyone has a massive tolerance like you. The first time I did mxe I did approximately 10mg and that was plenty. I've seen people freak out on less than 25mg for their first time. This drug can be extremely disorienting to those not suited to dissociatives and even to those who are you need to think before you tell people to start off with a dose that would totally floor most anyone intolerant to it.

You should reread my post. I'm not recommending more than 50mg. I said up to 50mg.
Obviously anything more than 50mg is excessive for a first time user.
My apologies, I should have made this more clear in my post.

I apologize if I misread it, I thought you were trying to say 50mg or more but I see what you were trying to say. And I have to agree with you about staggering doses it's the only way I like to do this stuff anymore. 75mg split into 3 lines over the course of an hour or two makes for a very warm cozy high.

Sublingual, then snorted in second place. I like the idea of snorting but I have a volumetric solution in a spray dispenser so I use that.

Sublingual does everything I want without needing to weigh a new dose every time and no risk of nasal damage, if snorting has it.

What do you think about oral administration?

I don't understand because people tell this is extremely addictive. Only one dose has a medium-long duration (from what I read) and in theory not produces physical addiction, really? I don't llike being high all the time, I only was addicted to nicotine (not now, 5 years clean), and never had problems with alcohol abuse (all weekends but in moderate use), benzos or weed. Is really so difficult a responsable use with mxe (like nicotine)? I never tried reaaaally addictive drugs like strong opiates and I'm a bit confused.

What is "medium to long" duration? Like3-6 hrs, or like 6-10 hrs.

but if you do like to be high all the time it would be quite addictive yes ?
also it's even more addictive in small confidence boosting doses that don't impair you that much and allow you to go to work, school etc. thats when it can become really addictive.

After effects last faaaar longer than that. I used to feel "dizzy" and somewhat dissociated for up to 24 hours after high dose MXE with no tolerance.

Yes, when taking doses above 45mg I would always notice that when I awoke the next day I'd have a dissociative "fuzz". It's hard to describe.

I don't think this is a direct effect of the drug though, as I have heard of people reporting similar aftereffects from nitrous.

I said medium-long because I was thinking in ketamine comparision, for some people a good dose of mxe seems to last 6 hours when the roa is oral (with snorting a little less), and I read that mxe produces strong time dilation (subjectively I imagine that trip seems to last long). With psychedelics for example, the time distortion that makes feeling the trip like eternity duration, is too exhausting for me, and is the reason because I only trip with short-acting psychdelics (no more than 4h).

On MXE, does anyone notice how the sound of flowing water - sink, shower, toilet, etc. seems to get so echo-ey , and all-encompassing, even off fairly low, functional doses. Do all dissociatives affect perception of sound this way? A toilet flush is an aural maelstrom...

I will maybe be able to comment on this soon. We have a fishtank in our living room that constantly has water making noise.

Update:

I got myself a new job.

A consistent one, for now until I start working with my father in March. I got a source of income and have been very productive lately, working many hours, working out physically and doing good mentally. Despite this, I have stuck to my MXE habits. I ordered 2 grams last week, and went through it in about 4 days (a usual for me when I have low amounts). I went to work one day on about 150mg, a little more than I intended on doing as I only needed it for stimulation. When I got there, I was a little disoriented from the brutal cold weather and the 4am meet up time. Fortunately the hour van ride to the job site with my crew sobered me up, along with a redbull. I will take note to not do that again as I was a little concerned for my job when I started my shift. Not a good idea at all despite my confidence in being able to handle myself on any substance.

You get a new job and you risk it by going to work high on methoxetamine :\ And 150mg nonetheless. Honestly?.. And you also claim to have no negative side-effects. Ya know besides like going to work intoxicated, multiple declarations of quitting/cutting back coupled with the inability to, extremely high tolerance and irrational, overblown, fantastical or just delusional justifications for using. Stuff that's pretty clear to an outside observer. If someone were to use alcohol in this manner, it would be indicative of an alcohol problem. I don't mean to judge but I think you need some time to reflect on your actions and drug use in a sober state. It sort of seems like you are headed for trouble with this stuff and/or drug use in general.

I dont mean to lecture, but directed to the community as a whole, I don't know how people can justify constant use (weekly or more) of psychedelics as being enlightenment or mind-expanding, whether they be traditionals, RC phenethylamines or addictive dissociatives. There's nothing mind-expanding about the psychedelic state if that's where your mind is at all times. Sobriety is a your normal, everyday state of hemostasis for a very good reason. You can either use psychedelics to enhance your world or replace it. Just my 2 cents.

I don't see how people can afford to do so much... How addictive is it? It seems like people are spending their paychecks for stashes of MXE... Is it more or less addictive than say, cocaine?

One other small question. Are people that take 3-10mg snorting it? Or to better phrase my question, is 3-10mg noticeably active orally?

EXCITEMENT! MXE arrived in the mail in time for this weekend.

Can anyone suggest an interesting oral dose? I do all my chems via gelcap or sublingual & am well experienced with chems (see my blog entry).

I take it orally, wrapped in paper, and definetly feel mood lift from 3mg's.
