[Mega] Picture Thread ver. We Got Trees To Bring You To Yo' Knees

^ Mate, no offence but I'm telling you, that is cannabis ;) I'm not trying to sound arrogant, but I've quite a bit of experience with the plant so I definitely know it when I see it.

edit: you are looking at the right picture? Because there's no question about it, which makes me wonder whether you are seeing or did see another plant. That's the only explanation I can think of.

lol do you know what cannabis looks like? That is cannabis! Seriously are you trying to pull my leg or something? I take it you've never grown cannabis before then obviously.

And I would listen to someones whos heard it directly from the discoverers of that plant.
 
No but I know what a cannabis plant looks like and I've grown plenty of the things before. You on the other hand I assume have no growing experience and have decided you're right simply because someone else says so.

IS NOT POT!

I looks just like it here, but by the time the next level of leaves shot up they had 7 points, so we ripped one of the leaves and sure enough! it was just a weed, haha.

Once we started handling it though you could really tell, the stalk was much weaker than cannabis, and it had a regular green smell. But yeah, false alarm.

Trust me, it is cannabis. I don't know of any weed that would look like that, and just because there were 9 leaves and the smell was off it doesn't mean it wasn't cannabis. I know plenty of cannabis plants that show that trait.

I've posted the pic on a cannabis board, asking whether it could be another plant (it is not) so we'll see how many people say otherwise lol

Here. Can't believe I'm having to do this to prove a point, but when you just know you're right it drives you mad! No hard feelings.

Someone had the theory that it could be a banana tree I might add. neko you should have left it to grow then we would know for sure ha ha.

Man....trust me...TRUST ME! by the time this plant grew up another two levels it looked nothing like pot. I have grown pot before, and been around it PLENTY! This picture looks just like pot, but after it got a tad bigger and the leaves changed we tore a leaf and snapped part of the stem, it didnt have an oily residue and instead the stem had a milky white substance that came out. THIS DOES NOT EVER HAPPEN WITH POT.

I am not in any way saying you dont know you shit, but how could the people of another area be able to say there is NO OTHER PLANT THAT LOOKS LIKE THIS when they dont know what region I'm in. Even if you said im in florida, you dont know what part and this state has about three different climate zones.

I'm not sure how to prove to you any more that it isnt pot, we pulled the plant, the roots were nothing like a cannabis plant, it had no smell of skunk. And agian, when we picked a leaf it had a milky substance that came out.
 
^ the reason I'm so skeptical is because there really is no other plant (apart from hemp) that looks so strikingly similar to cannabis. It's a no brainer to me.

If you can find one other plant that looks so similar you'll convince me, but there really isn't.

I haent done too much research on pot look alikes, but you are not considering the fact that this is a undeveloped plant in this picture. The plant changed as it got just a few weeks older, and it not longer looked like pot. The leaves werent right and they werent growing in groups like pot does. the plant lost the fuzz on the leaves and the stems stayed very frail.

And agian, Cannabis plant do not have any kind of milky substance that leaks out when you tear a leaf or break a stem. Its totally unlike cannabis, this picture isnt really an accurate representation of what ever plant it was, it isnt developed.
 
^ i'm not saying you're lying but I'm not aware of any lookalikes that good and I've researched it myself when I was thinking of trying to hide some plants amongst them in a greenhouse. i've done some searching at the best that I can find looks something like these:

so if there is a plant that is not cannabis but looks like that pic you posted then it would be great, but I just don't know of any myself and can't find any, which is why I thought there must have been a mistake. I guess it'll remain a mystery though. Too bad it's been culled!

The plant in Nekos pic looks a lot like pot. I wonder what grows like that but has a milky sap. Neko did you take any other pics? That would be a wicked ornamental!
 
This on the other hand is pot. Some bagseed: it looks mostly sativa. Kept it mini due to construction site going up next door all summer. Finished on time in our lovely southern hemisphere autumn. Didn't have ideal growing conditions due to the need for stealth but it turned out some passable flowers. Didn't go completely organic this time used Canadian Xpress Bloom for soil which is mostly made of organic material but has some N and P and K added to the mix grown in a 20cm pot.

^ wow, that a pretty good looking plant! Looks almost a pure sat! Do you find most of the weed on the street is sativa where you are in Aus?

Did you keep a cutting? What was the high like?
