Tripping on an Airplane

"So my friend was telling about this crazy combo he supposedly tried called a sith lord flip. He wrote an urban dictionary definition describing it bc there weren't any when he wanted to show me and he couldn't find it on bl or anywhere else but swears he isn't the only one to have done it. Here is the definition he wrote

"A drug cocktail. In fact it is the most insane Drug cocktail ever tried by any person ever up to this point in history! Based on the previous concept of flipping, or taking a combination of psychedelic drugs. Many steps above the jedi flip(LSD,Mushrooms,XTC) and entirely dwarfing candy flipping this is about as much as you can blow your mind up.

The Sith Lord Flip was received its name as a parody on the popularization of naming drug cocktails such as the Jedi Flip.

The Sith Lord Flip consists of a combination of DOB or DOI+Psilocybin Mushrooms(or 4acodmt)+LSD+MDMA(or a similar entacogen)+DMT+Ketamine!!!

Most Commonly the DOB(or DOI or similar DOx compound). LSD is taken later so that its peak occurs at the same time as DOx compund. Then MDMA and shrooms are taken with the same idea. When all four of those compounds are peaking at once ketamine is injected snorted or smoked. Then at peak DMT is smoked!

The result is the most insane overwhelming experience possible!!!! Only a true master of the dark side, a true sith lord can handle such a ridiculous combo!
Not Satisfied with a mere Jediflip the experienced psychonaut tried a sith lord flip. 3 months later he was finally released from the insane asylum and has never been the same. He should have realized only a true sith lord can be a master of the sith lord flip and henceforth a master of the universe.

Sounds like your fears are just inverted inward. Behaving recklessly while alternating between manic bravado and confidence and depressive introspection about feelings of emptiness... Doesn't sound like a mindset I particularly want to emulate. I'm not going to tell you what to do, but you should answer this simple question for yourself: do you use drugs to enhance a life you are generally satisfied with, or do you use drugs to fill what you perceive as holes in your life or ability to experience things? What you make of the answer is up to you, but IMHO you'd be better served using psychedelics as part of a personal journey to be more at peace with your life and make productive changes to it as needed rather than to bombard yourself with the most intense experience you can find just to feel something. I'm no Buddha myself but from what you've posted here I'm pretty sure that I'm more at peace with myself and consistently happy than you seem to be, despite you seeming to take more of my favorite drugs than I do.
 
The fact that something horrible did not happen never proves that it could not happen or that the chances are determined.

You took a gamble and came out unscathed, keep your bravado to yourself and don't give anyone the impression that your outcome changes anything about the risks and reasons not to do this.

It's key that everyone understands the limits of their capabilities and acknowledges certain boundaries in order to clearly make use of their potential. The point is not to psych yourself into doing this and surviving but realizing that you are also experimenting with the lives of other people.
You don't know what could happen, there is no way you could see every possible adverse reaction coming. Stop kidding yourself with shit about invincibility or heroic actions.
 
Geez, I'm bored of this thread now the novelty has warn off.

What's next - buying a trip on one of Richard Branson's commercial space flights and doing a Lord Vader Maull Artoo C3PO flop :p
 
In Pihkal, Shulgin talks about trying out a new psychedelic on a plane and said he had a horrible experience. He said he couldnt stop thinking about all the people around him and what they thought of him. He strongly recommended that no one try it I would probably bug out worrying about peoples' reading on me too.

If shulgin suggests not taking psychedelics on a plane then I'd go with that =D

Shulgin has consumed more psychedelics than probably most of the people here and if he managed to have a rough time, then the potential does exist and shouldn't be taken lightly.
 
Just some greenlighter input, but I once saw a guy supposedly on DXM get escorted off the plane before it even took off and he wasn't even flipping shit or anything. Never done it myself, but common sense tells me it's a bad idea.
 
Dropping acid on a plane

I'm going to be flying soon for a 9 hour flight, and dropping acid on a plane sounds to me like either an absolute hit or an absolute disaster. The security at the airport I am flying from is absolutely shitty, but where I land is pretty strict. I am also not sitting at the window, as I checked in late for my flight so I couldn't get a window seat.

Does anyone have experience with this and do you recommend it? Any tips to stay under the radar while doing this?

I tripped Ambien very Hard while flying and it was a disaster! I could only imagine the issues that could arise from doing this lol. to name a few

1. you have a psychotic episode revolving around not being about to look out the window.
2. you think its perfectly ok to hide in the bathroom for 3 hours.
3. you think sunshades will make you look less suspicious in an airport setting.
4. the thought " Hmm if this thing can fly why the hell cant I?"
5. Could you imagine the look on these guys faces if I got up and Yelled get ready for the reveloution!


Yeah I was Jking around do what you got to do. Sounds like a recipe for bad things to happen.
 
I vote NO. When I'm on something like acid, I like mobility. You'll be stuck sitting down for 9 hours in the air... doesn't sound quite like fun to me. I'd rather take some benzos and sleep the flight through.

You can walk around on this flight (well at least you could the other way around), but perhaps it is suspicious if you keep walking around all the time haha.

well it's up to you. I know people who have done this, but I wouldn't. I like being able to touch the ground on acid, and feel connected with the earth.
 
Taking a powerful sense-distorting psychoactive drug in a steel cylinder flying 30,000 feet through the air at hundreds of miles per hour, surrounded by (relatively) sober people... This is the definition of a poor choice.

(Pot brownies, on the other hand, should at least knock you through hyperspace for 4-6 just as you get past customs)

I'm one of those persons that like to travel through space while on acid, and I thought this might bring in another dimension. But the flight is absolutely jam packed, if that wasn't the case I probably would do it without a second thought.

But as this seems like such a hit-or-miss I wanted to see if anyone had any experience hallucinating on a plane.

Maybe I could try a more SIT DOWN BOY kind of psychedlic, like for example Ketamine. Although with Ketamine I sometimes get nausea so I also think that isn't the best idea.

Need to think this over carefully.
