blind_injustice, I've given reasons for every argument I've rejected. That one less than witty comment was made in frustration when my argument was continuously derailed for reasons unrelated to the actual content of the thread.
For the record I think preacha's points were well thought out (which is rare) and I'm glad he took the time to respond instead of simply being a smart arse. However I still think they are selling the indigenous population short.
ok, ill start by saying that i did not read the entirety of the first post, nor did i read pretty much any of the reply's. BUT I did get the gist of this thread?
So you've read the thread now?
From just then reading back over what you've posted, it's easy to see that although you have tried to come to the issue with compassion you still think that Aboriginal people are beneath you. I believe you actually said neanderthal at one point. A hominind,
Homo neanderthalus, that died out long ago in Europe. Not to mention a separate branch on the evolutionary tree altogether, that broke off long before modern
Homo sapiens, the species in which Indigenous Australians are included.
I'd suggest in future for the sake of seeming more educated, that you invest in a scientific encyclopedia or spend some time tooling the main drag of Wikipedia.
