the night of tricks,
a night of treats,
little kids roam,
all the streets.
happy as can be,
when they are supposed to be scared,
candy overpowered this day of evil,
a victory?
or a defeat.
a day devoted to the thrill of a scare,
now about the little goodies,
goblins in hoodies,
no longer roam.
merely pumpkins,
and cute little bunnys,
i find it funny,
how scary they are.
ghosts and vampires,
all for hire,
for a treat,
they can trick you off your feet.
this day again,
every year.
a day of joy.
meant for death.
odd?
possibly weird.
i no longer question,
just partake in the event.
after all. its cute to see those little ones.
