EADD Film Recommendations v5 - TBC

Sicario

Vamos putas!
One of the better blockbusters from 2015.

Watched that last night after your recommendation, really enjoyed it. Thanks

saw lobster today thanks to putlocker - ace/surreal

Strange movie isn't it - I really enjoyed it though

I really fancy that.

You should watch it Koneko, one of the better movies I've watched in a while. I really want to see Star Wars but waiting until the crowds die down a bit so I can enjoy it without too many people talking etc.

Quite a few Jan and Feb release date screeners on torrent sites as of this weekend.

I love screener season :) - just er ordered Creed for later tonight - haven't seen that many of the others that I fancy watching.

I watched one of the worst films I think I have ever seen on Saturday night - The Human Centipede 2. I have no idea what madness possessed me to actually press play, the first film I watched years ago while drunk after seeing the trailer, it was more for the 'lolz' at the time and posting on Facebook at how ridiculous it was; therefore, I knew what crud this second piece of tripe would be, but it didn't stop me. I suppose it's like a big red button that says 'DO NOT PRESS', the inner child within me couldn't resist.

Anyway, it is utter dross and quite sickening - I don't mean a sickening gorefest (there is lots of gore) that is enjoyable at a fun level that you can expect from a horror that relies on cheap thrills, this is sickening as in 'pass the bucket so I can vomit'. Actually, even if I did vomit it would have at least poked me at an emotional level to warrant such a reaction, this just left me numb and I felt like I had been visually raped, I even considered going for a shower afterwards as it was so grotesque. I'm uncertain where the casting team found the actor that played the protagonist, but I'm certain they must have discovered him in the most horrific and deeply depraved settings one can conjure up in the darkest recess of the mind, a truly horrifying looking human.

Strange I actually 'enjoyed' number two and found the horror aspect of it stronger than number 1. Number 3 however is simply awful.

Number one was a sick person with the medical skill and knowledge carrying out his fantasy - number two was bob the butcher trying it.

^ Haha, fair enough, each to their own. To be fair I'm quite particular about horror, as sometimes I feel that some horror just relies on shock value and it means the rest of the film suffers because of it. I found the dialogue exceptionally weak in The Human Centipede 2. I do love a good well made horror film.

I could not get through the human centipede 2. You described it very well MUSHET, it was completely sick and grotesque. I actually turned it off halfway through because I was so deeply disturbed by the content. I noticed they added the third one on Netflix, but after my experience with the second one, I have no interest in even attempting to watch it. The first one was bad, the second one is another level of sickening. I am surprised films like that are even legal to make lol.

I am scrolling through Netflix right now and can't seem to find anything worth putting on. May have to just settle for a documentary or something. Two of my favorite movies are Slumdog Millionaire and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

It maybe is a bit surprising that they're legal whenever the following are illegal in UK-made pornography: spanking, physical restraint, verbal abuse, female ejaculation, watersports. The local ODEON is officially seedier than domestic UK pornography.

What horror films do you like ? Do you ever watch them when high? LSD and horror movies are a great head fuck - horror movies and ket are something that could scare you for life. I have said this before but 28 days later on ket was the scariest thing I have ever watched on a tv - I was home alone, after a night of clubbing and I think I actually gave myself PTSD.

@ Bear - Some horror that I love, probably more to add:

The Shining
The Exorcist
Evil Dead 1,2 & 3 (okay, more comedy)
The Dawn of the Dead (1978 version)
Ring (1998 Japanese version)
The Fly
The Thing (Jon Carpenter version)
The Wickerman (1973)
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Psycho
Alien (arguably a horror over sci-fi)
The Descent
28 Days Later

I don't think I have watched a horror while high on LSD actually, could be dangerous!

wow great selection and I have to say that I love them all. I have to say that Aliens was my favorite of the series (get away from her you bitch) but Alien was a very different movie. 28 days later still ranks as one of my all time fave horror movies with 'open waters' being a very close second (taps into my fear of open water and sharks) - I actually did think that I broke myself the night I watched 28 days on ket :D .

^I think urbain means 'the revenant' and 'the hatefull eight'.

if you haven't watched 'Munich' yet it's an underrated film.
