[Mega] Rolling the Movie

I just came across this website for "Rolling" the movie check it out, looks like it might be kind of cool. Not sure if it will be released on DVD, hopefully though. http://www.myspace.com/rollingmovie

Watching these kind of reminded me of a special I saw on MTV a while back at least like a couple years ago I believe... It was part of the True Life series something like "I'm on ecstasy" or "I'm a roller" or something like that... I'm sure someone knows what im talking about, anyways I was wondering if anyone knows where I could possibly see that special again.

Interesting movie...would be kind of nice to be able to see the entire thing.

I remember those mtv specials that you are talking about. I remember there was one (I think it was on mtv anyway) where they followed a father who got into the rave scene. The one distinct scene I remember is the father giving his son money to buy some E at a party that they were having. It always struck me as odd, especially since he did it on national television.
 
I sent them a message on myspace a while ago. I'm from Boston and I wanted to see it. This is the message they sent me.

"We were hoping to bring this movie to Boston next month through the Ind. Film Festival of Boston, but politics won over and we didn't get in because we don't have any stars and they don't have any artistic vision whatsoever and obviously don't care about how good a movie is. Anyways, the answer to your question is we hope to have a wider theatrical release around late summer, early fall. The DVD will come out late this year or early next. Check the page for updates or sign the email list and you'll be informed of any screenings in your area. Thanks for showin some love and take care."


It should be a pretty damn good movie. I'm pumped to see it

Hey that was the HBO special. My avator is the guy from the show. Small town escstasy was the name of it.
 
yeah ive known about this movie for a little while, im kinda sick of watching all the clips and i really wanna be able to see the whole thing.

i dunno if that will ever be possible, hope so.

what the fuck? all the movies on that site are like $80 and up....thats really strange!

i saw small town ecstasy when i was like 14.
its a pretty good doc from what i remember

For anyone who didn't read my original post.. Regarding the movie ROLLING

This is for USA:
