Smoking Ecstasy...Does it waste it?

Hey,

I was wondering, does smoking ecstasy through a bong with weed waste some of it? I'd imagine the high levels of heat burning away some of the chemicals or something like that?

Also, has anyone tried rolling a joint with a crushed up pill? does it taste nice and does it give you a nice peak?

The trick is i believe not to burn it but hold the flame off a little and vaporise it , believe it hits hard doesnt last long and makes the inevitable comedown worse , also i wouldnt try smoking pills because of the fillers etc. molly would be far more preferable , also i cant imagine it being much good for your lungs.
 
Unless your a meth/crack head you ain't gonna be able to smoke it properly. Just eat/snort/plug it. Whatever floats yer boat.
 
i have a homemade meth pipe (the little light bulb thing) that i use to smoke weed. anyways im curious about smoking the ecstacy. would this be sufficient in vapourising it or would it still waste alot of the product
 
why in the world would you wanna smoke X ???????? Doesn't even sound right just pop ur pills that's y there pills... would u smoke a xanax???

but yea, i can understand the curiosity behind wanting to smoke a bean. like, smoking for me is much more than just getting high, the act itself can be enjoyable and the ritual of preparation can add to the experience as well.

having said that, i would never risk potential loss of substance for novel value, and so have steered pretty clear of smoke ecstasy, preferring to eat them

smoked a lot of crazy things including smoking E. Since meth and ecstasy are both amphetamines, I figured that mdma must be smokable as well. I tried this several times with street grade X, and had no success. Just a nasty taste and pain in my chest and throat. I still think, however, it might be possible to smoke mdma crystals in their purest form just as meth is smoked out of a glass bubble or light bulb.

sound advise but there is also a reason... MDMA degrades when burnt/heated too much making it useless, as far as I am awear. So yes it would just "wast it".
 
not to offend anyone or discredit their short answer posts, but what source of information do you base your answer to the question? is it a reliable source? a friends advice? personal experiences? maybe you are a chemistry major? or just your own best guess with out any or much knowledge on the subject?
 
fact:
I've smoked bongs (guns) of mdma and hallucinated ferociously from it, although it is in the end more of a waste than if you bombed it or licked it or else.
