Prior to this experience I had rolled three times, but with doses ranging between 80 and up to 140 mg. I'm experienced with a variety of other drugs, but nothing really speaks to me like MDMA does. It left a seemingly permanent glow within me.
Now let's get to the story..
It all happened at a festival I was attending with two of my best friends and a bunch of other close ones - male and female. It wasn't an electronic festival in particular, there was a lot of different music. I had brought three 220mg tablets for me and my friend, we'll call him Jay. Jay is the only person I had rolled with before, and we both had the same extrovert perspective on life - we're very similar in most ways.
Before getting into the night where the magic revealed itself, I'd like to let the readers know that I took half a tablet three days before this(It is NOT recommended to consume the drug this often, but it unfortunately turned out this way..) the experience was quite powerful and we attended a rave/spacecraft techno concert that lasted little over an hour. I connected with some foreigners and we promised to visit their camp later - which we never got to do, but it was fun. I wasn't too impressed with the roll, it didn't last very long and the empathetic state was gone transiently.
Now Friday came and we had already planned to drop the whole pill exactly 45 minutes before Disclosure would get on stage. Jay wasn't as eager as me, but I could tell he was really looking forward to it. I figured it'd be a good idea to bring a water bottle into the crowd, so I filled it up by the dispenser and went into the folk mass to search for my friend. During the search the track 'White Noise' came on and the substance started to creep onto me. I would feel sweaty down my spine and at one point I even felt a little dizzy. But after a few minutes of heavy breathing I rocketed into a galaxy of pure and delightful bliss. I started dancing uncontrollably, only to break my movements once in a while to be met with the widest grin ever by my friend Jay. We nodded to each other and proceeded to dance throughout the whole concert - truly an amazing experience.
Once Disclosure went off-stage we'd start following the crowd out of the area, we'd walk in the slowest pace possible, my eyes were so low I barely could see anything and I was continuously clenching my jaw. We lit a cigarette when we got out and it felt utterly fantastic! From that moment I was chainsmoking until we arrived at the camp. I saw my buddy sitting for himself outside, he wasn't really much for attending concerts, so I went over and gave him a long hug and told him to cheer up. Other people from the camp would come and join and we ended up sitting 12 people in a circular shape. Jay and I sat opposite of each other, so we wasn't talking for a while, but I fully enjoyed interacting with the other people there.
Jay suddenly looks at me with completely open eyes and a wide grin plastered across his face. He speeds into our tent and retrieves four unopened cans of glowsticks, he throws me a can and I light up instantly, I fumble around with the can as I unwrap it, fishing up a handful of glowsticks in different colors. I was told that I displayed a facial expression that they've never seen before - completely ecstatic and impressed by the beautiful sticks that'd leave a trail behind them as I swung them through the air. I started handing them out to every single person sitting in this circle and they gladly accepted them. A girl wearing a buckethat approached me and I placed a glowstick behind each of her ears and I told her that it lit up her face more than before, she was flattered and told me she didn't know what to say, I simply responded with the most authentic smile. I felt kind of a strong neck pain from dancing and going crazy the last couple days, so I had this blonde girl giving me a massage, she told me her mother was a physiotherapist and I told her I wasn't in doubt - that was the best massage in my entire life!
Now, a female I'd never seen before came over and sat right next to me. I was stunned by her beauty, I quickly introduced myself with a witty comment that made her smile, I just remember staring at her, not even bothering to care if I looked creepy or strange in any way. We started connecting and talking about anything from private life, hobbies, appreciation, love and spirituality. Eventually Jay came over at told me Kygo would go on soon, so I asked her if she'd come and join us, and she agreed - so did a few other girls. Time flew by and we kept talking until we arrived at the scene. There was balloon animals, glowsticks and glow sabres practically everywhere.
We danced and danced and sang during the songs we knew - one particular song that still sends me back to that night is the Don't Stop Believing remix he played, I still get goosebumps this day today. I started cuddling with the girl I'd been talking with that whole night, and nothing can replace the rush I got... just waves of warmth that ran through me constantly.
When the show ended we started walking towards the gate, and I could feel the effects slowly diminishing. Naturally I felt kind of sad, because it's been such a wonderful night, but the afterglow still had me going throughout the night. We continued talking until 5
AM, I felt okay about it as I was coming pretty hard down at this time. A good female friend of mine came and accompanied me until around 6 AM, we just sat and spoke about literally everything, we hugged and said goodnight.
I felt pretty good the next day, except I got really drunk and that provoked a lot of mixed emotions - I rarely drink alcohol anymore, nor do I smoke weed regularly anymore.
What can I take from this, and how can this tale affect other people?
I believe the biggest factor here was the set and setting: great weather, great location, close friends and amazing music. There's only one thing that bothers me now, that's the fact I'm afraid I will never feel the same again, but I try to remain optimistic.
Oh and something else. I witnessed a few of my buddies rolling recently on pills relatively stronger than the one I had, but they don't seem to have the same outcome. I wonder if it's the settings or simply different reactions, one of my friends would just have his eyes closed for 4-5 hours only to mumble gibberish once in a while and open his eyes to smile(this guy has taken a lot of pills in his life) - the other guy was just rolling haaaard, he could barely open his eyes at this point, but we had also taken 25 mg of 2C-B prior to this - but neither of them seemed to have an experience similar to mine... I'm just curious, because I feel like they're missing out on something.
That's all I had. Take care everyone!
