New tryptamine legislation will come into effect on 7th January 2015. (28 days from when the order was made - 10th Decemeber 2014)

Order known as the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2014

This means that the two compounds 5-Meo-Dalt (N,N-diallyl-5-methoxytryptamine) and 5-Meo-Dalt (N,N-diallyl-5-methoxytryptamine)N,N-diallyl-5-methoxytryptamine) will become controlled in the UK under the misuse of drugs act as Class A drugs.

This legislation will also cover lysergamide analogues.

Right, let's take away AL-LAD so we can have users turn to NBOMe analogues and other shady, less safe substances. A job well done... definitely moving in the right direction 8)
 
I'm pretty sure they have, but not those funky NBOMe analogues like NBOH and NBF. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
 
Yes, the UK has banned all N-Benzyl compounds, including but not limited to NBOMe, NBOH, NBF.

I have no doubt that this will spur further innovation though.
 
Every few months the government bans more psychedelics and then more become available. I think some there will be a push for extremely dangerous Tryptamines. But if you access online they won't disappear. The minute they make them illegal it's a big pay off for the research chemical websites, they become out of stock immediately but usually return. As for NBOMe/NBOH, they didn't going nowhere, I recon AL-LAD and LSZ will remain abundant after an initial withdrawal (mainly to rip people off). @CaptainKratom, yes. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukdsi/2014/9780111110904 There were proposal to ban them from early 2013 by the home office, there most recent amendment to the 1971 act is to upgrade Ketamine to Class B and make NBOMe and other 2x and mescaline derivatives Class A, as well as some Z hypnotics becoming Class B. These were enacted in July this year but only properly came into effect in October.
 
I'm wrong. What I posted was redrafted as what foolsgold posted and certain Z hypnotics will be Class C. What I posted became a statutory instrument and has been amended (which is rare) literally 2 months in October to December, to catch more psychedelics.
 
so how likely is this to spread to the rest of the EU? or, indeed, how fast?

does it cover all lysergamide analogues (even ones not yet available)?
 
This is unlikely to have any bearing on laws in other countries in the EU.

It only covers a selection of ergoloids covered by name.

If only. This may not have any bearing now, but, unfortunately, the guiding principle of EU drug policy seems to be to copy whatever bone-headed decisions the UK has passed lately. This definitely brings the drugs in question on EU's radar, and that is a very tight spot indeed. Expect all of these to be banned EU-wide by end of 2015. I don't say this lightly...but fuck this shit. So much for beautiful drugs, on to the unexplored heights of toxicity and general fuckery.

Sorry I dont think thats the case. Most of the good RCs are still legal in the EU ( 2fa, 4fa, the APBs, the 2Cs, 4-subs, the 5meos, etc etc etc )
Is your opinion is based on the MXE ban ? The fact that the UK banned that years ago suggests to me that it had no influence on EU policy.

Interesting. I don´t see so many things actually changing though..
 
I'll miss aMT, that's for sure.
Though we still have BK-2CB so I imagine we'll see more BK-2Cx compounds in the near future.

I wonder if AL-LAD will stay in the clearnet by moving to a new country for sales.

Wait a second.. no one seems to be crying about loosing LSZ. Is that because LSZ won't be banned under this, or is it just because no one cares about LSZ?

Less people went in for LSZ I think, a few of the initial reports noted a more pronounced nausea than LSD or AL-LAD. But LSZ is definitely also banned, mentioned by name no less. I'm also pretty disappointed to be losing LSZ, only had one tab unlike the 24 of AL-LAD I now have on ice.

I'd definitely go in on some bk-2C-E or bk-2C-P. Never mind the duration.
 
They even spell AL-LAD as 'AL-ALD' several times in the explanatory memorandum. I'm ashamed to call them my government.

As for these lysergamides remaining legal outside the UK, they probably will, for now, but the UK was the only place they were being made, as far as I know. It might be a while before they resurface.
