I apologize in advance for this report not being incredibly detailed, but there wasn't honestly too much to report. If anybody has any specific questions they want to ask after reading, feel free to post them below, (or pm me if you're more comfortable with that).
Last night was my first time examining 2C-D through this ROA. I've take it on it's own orally a couple of times, but usually used it in smallish doses to augment other chemicals. It has been about a year or two since I've revisited the 2C-x family.
My back has been killing me over the last few days, so about 2-3 hours before taking the 2C-D, I had taken around 15mg of Oxycontin IR.
T+0:00- I weighed out around 24mg of 2C-D and chopped it up fairly finely. I say around because the calibration on my scale was a bit off, and I had lost one of the calibration weights, so I'd say 24mg +/- 5-7mg. Visually I felt comfortable with the dose I had laid out. I snorted it and immediately remembered the pain that the 2C-x family carries through this ROA. 2C-I never hurt much to me, but this was akin to the pain of 2C-E, only difference was that 2C-D's pain lasted much longer than I remember 2C-E lasting.
T+0:02(ish)- I started coming up around 45 seconds to a minute after snorting it, and it grew rapidly over a 5-10 minute period. The pain persisted into the peak, and as I began to plateau, the pain began to subside. I'd say it was there for a good 15-17 minutes real time. My body felt incredible and the visuals were great, both OEV and CEV. No neons, but a great flowing and spiraling nature to everything. The OEV's were quite strong, and the CEV's were at about a medium level.
T+0:20(ish)- Right about at the peak. Visuals are great, very immersive, and my body had a wonderful warm euphoria flowing throughout. Not radiating outwards, if that makes sense. Mental stimulation was minimal, though not impaired. Music definitely sounds nicer and clearer, but it wasn't anything spectacular. I laid naked in my bed, listening to music and appreciating my surroundings.
T+00:40(ish)- I watched a few skate video's on youtube by the filmer Brett Novack (incredible videos, especially the Kilian Martin shoots. The way the skating interacts with the music is beautiful and well crafted. I recommend checking these out even if you aren't a skater or watch skateboarding videos regularly, as I fall into this category). After a bit I realized that my back pain was much more manageable. I put on Finally We Are No One by Múm and got up to do some stretching and rehabilitation on my back. Before this my back was in so much pain that I couldn't stretch or even massage the area without getting spasms. Every step was painful. I was able to really do some great work on my back so I took advantage of it.
T+1:20- Gradually starting to come down. It's among the smoothest comedowns I've experienced. I continue listening to music, writing, reading, and working on my back.
T+2:00- Experience is arguably completely over. I was amazed at how short lived and smooth (minus the first 5-15 minutes) the experience was. It's like I was shot out of a cannon into space, then slowly drifted down back to earth like a feather. Afterglow was nice and consisted of an incredible mental clarity and nootropic-type stimulation. Sleep was reached without issue (or any more difficulty than usual, I should say), but I didn't try to crash until 3 or so hours after the comedown. I probably would have had some trouble sleeping had I tried to crash right after I came down.
Would I repeat this? Meh, probably not. It's rare nowadays that I take psychedelics other than LSD, Mushrooms, or Mescaline (dissociatives notwithstanding. Oh, and DOC 1-3 times a year). The main reason I do psychedelics is for introspection and self- analysis/ reprogramming. This experience was completely lacking in that respect. Did I dislike it? No, but there was very little that was special about it.
I hope this was at least mildly enjoyable or helpful, and feel free to ask any questions.
With love,
Noah
