(answered) The most ridiculous ban I have ever received on this forum, being here 9 years now!

I need an attention of administrator who deals with moderators who do not know what they are doing.

I received a ban for asking help in my Chicago area regarding some clinic for which I used the words "cheap and no asshole doctors" and I assume one of the moderators thought I was "sourcing" and I was banned. That's OK! I dont want to complain about this because its simple mistakes, the guy clearly didnt understand, we went through it, its fine. But very shortly after I was unbanned, this character with the nick Bronson bans me on the absolutely ridiculous accusations of me using alternative account invading during my very brief temp ban. Now, this is the biggest insult I have received on this forum since I joined 9 years ago. For 9 years, I admit I had some temp bans here and there, but for 9 years I have not used alternative account ever and have never been accused or offended in such way regarding anything close to this. This makes it so offensive on several grounds. For one, how dare he accuse me without proof ? Second, how dare he ban me without even giving me 1 minute to discuss it with him? Third, how dare he not review whatever evidence he has against me, discuss it with other moderators, then with me and either warn me or ban me as it is best resolved?

I would REALLY appreciate some superior to this questionably competent moderator shows some respect to an old forum user like myself and discuss this with me either here or in PM and hopefully! try to help and resolve the issue. Because, this is an embarrassment not to me, but this community as whole.
 
ok. let's dial down the outrage and take a breath. you're a long-time trouble-maker with a long list of infractions and warnings for repeatedly using bluelight for sourcing. frankly, i'm surprised you're not permanently banned by now.

when you show so little respect for the rules of a community for so long, you tend to not get the benefit of the doubt. it looks like that may have happened here.

the only thing which is offensive is your ongoing disregard for the rules of the forum. you're back now so stick to the rules and all should be well.

(f you rank your bans then things aren't looking good for you in this argument. Also, this thread title is way more ridiculous than the ban, even if the ban was a mistake (which I doubt it was) but I will still address each question you had.

For one, how dare he accuse you without proof?

Infractions for alt accounts are based on IP matches detected by the forum software. That match is the proof that we use for alt accounts.

Two, how dare he ban you without discussing it with you first?

If we discussed every infraction point before issuing them to members then it would waste a lot of time and resources. Instead we give the infraction first and it can be discussed afterwards if you disagree.

Third, how dare he not review the evidence with other mods, then with you, etc....?

You are making this into way bigger of a deal than it really is. Like I said before the evidence is an IP match.
 
^ I didnt use alternative account. I sent him a PM too, he denied responding days now after I came back. Obviously he has guilt. A simple review of what he thought was my IP and apology would have been nice! A very good reason to take this serious is also I was in ongoing debate on a thread when he did it and that's like someone slapping you as you talk to someone or being spat on when you eat!

alasdairm, what I did in the past is past I wish I progress here more peacefully by giving more respect to the forum as well as having received same respect from now on. Therefore, why cant you talk to bronson to see what he thought was my IP please. He obviously ignores my PM, he is hiding, he has guilt.
A simple apology will be great, because for once I feel I am right in the matter 100%!

i have reviewed the evidence and i'm satisfied that the infraction for using an alt. account was issued correctly.

you throw around the word respect but the content and cynical, sarcastic tone of your posts in this thread suggest you don't really mean it.

you currently have 6 active points. your next temporary ban would be for 3 months. your destiny is in your own hands.

I did not use alt account! If I did, I wont be so stupid to post a thread putting negative attention on me. I cant believe you actually found some type of "evidence" of alt account....
The fact that Bronson is still not replying to my Pm for days now shows he actually feels like he is in the wrong, NOT ME.

Or they are simply too busy to reply to your post - Mods are not duty bound to reply to all PM's within x amount of time. Chill out !
 
if you think i am heavy-handed, you're way too sensitive. and you're demonstrably still using bl :)

but you are free to go any time you like. or stay and make things better.

have a conversation? you could start by posting a few examples of my heavy-handedness and we can discuss it.

Once again I think that you are heavily exaggerating things if you think that being infracted when evidence shows that you have started an alt account is like being spat on while you eat, or slapped in the face.

You may also want to consider thinking twice before posting your assumptions here. There are plenty of reasons why Bronson was unable to reply to you within the first couple of days of issuing that infraction, so saying that it was due to guilt is foolish. People have lives outside of Bluelight and are not always able to address each and every issue in front of them at a given time, so take it at face value rather than making assumptions and then posting them here as if you know for sure what is going through that persons mind or what they have going on in their life at that time.

Wanna talk about a bullshit ban? After being a member at another drug forum for over three years, I was permanently banned without a second thought because I am an outspoken IV user and I noticed it wasn't just me. I guess the admin there shouldn't be running a drugs forum becayze I had every right to eleaborate within discussion., because I eveb donated as wwell for all those years. No reason, just done like that. Fuck 'em! :p

It's been over a month since this thread has been visited, so I'm going to close it. This is not to vent about out bans from this site or any other site. Feel free to vent about it in your blog.
