Found a 1mg Lorazepam exp 2009 -- Would it do anything?

I was cleaning and I found an old bottle of Lorazepam that expired in October 2009, and it had one 1mg pill in it. I have heard of people taking expired pain pills and it's worked... Would taking it give me any affects?

The pill is without a doubt good to take, pills expire long after their stated exp date and typically they only lose potency after long periods of time. The problem is 1mgs of lorazepam is a really small dose but it wouldn't hurt to take it, just don't expect amazing results, just some good ol anxiety relief.

Pills don't expire like that. It will effect you the exact same way now as it would have in 2009.
