Subthread of Psy Art & Poetry Thread


I made some psychedelic images and was wondering what people think of it? Most of them are LSD/25cnbome influenced.

Nice to look at under a low dose (2-3mg) of 2C-P ;)

First one is my favorite !

Do you mean you actually drew this while under LSD/25C ? Or just took sensory input during those trips as a starter point for drawing ?
 
They were made the day after the trips trying to reconstruate the visuals i saw.
 
I love the second one,it reminds me of CEV's that I get on datura.
 
Good stuff indeed, keep up the good work! I ALWAYS love psychedelic art, psychedelic and abstract art are my kind of art.
 
most of them around 30 minutes, but there are also some which took about 3-4 hours, like the very first one in this thread
 
Yeah the first one id definately my favorite, you ever play around with fractal generators or mandelbulb?
 
have been thinking about it, now that you mention it, im gonna do it right now
 
Interesting, bernax. Do you have any based on the visuals you saw on cannabis?

I have been meaning to contribute to one of the psychedelic art threads, but I've been feeling kinda lazy & uninspired lately :\

probably get a free flickr account and post to a wider audience
just don't say on flickr that it is day after dope stuff.
 
what I particularly like (excepting the white background one) is the overall gel or layered film effect.
to me that is a strong indication of psychedelic effects being underway:
when existing images persist and new ones layer over top, letting combinatorial interactions and geometries emerge. (it seems rich like jello space, or an environment made of photo-slide overlays)
layering lets trails and tracers occur.

Do you know what the maximum file size is on flickr? because tumblr has 10MB which is way too small

THanks for the advice, made a flickr account, can upload images of up to 200MB!!!
